For those who don't know innoson couples cars he doesn't make or manufacture them

Don't be deceived
I don't know why some people are hating are so pained about this Innoson.

Before you ignorantly throw more tantrums at the tycoon who despite not having the privilege to attend a tertiary institution has carved a niche for himself, can u visit at least two of his factories like the one in Enugu where he manufactures ceramic wares, plastics, chairs, water storage tanks, PVC Ceiling, Gift Items, household items, kitchen wares etc or the one in Nnewi where he produces spare parts and manufacturs automobiles and see if you are better off than the "least" of any of his graduate employee?

Can u also visit Shandong, Foshan and Wuhan in China and see if you can measure up in anyway with any of the hundreds of Nigerians (including your fellow Afonjas) whom he single handedly sponsored to China, trained them and have them in his employ?

Meanwhile start by telling us about your father's achievement(s), if any?

Can you tell us what you, your father or the most prominent person in your family does for a living and how he can be compared with this Industrialist who without governments support is an employer of more than 4,000 citizens of Nigeria Irrespective of tribe.

Also for your information, there's no Car manufacturer anywhere in the world that makes 100 percent of their components. All are assemblers in one way or the other if you must use the word.

In what capacity has Innoson contributed to this fight against Coronavirus.
I saw the list Davido published on his Twitter, I was a bit disappointed to realize that Innoson wasn't on it.
What has your father contributed?
Innoson has more than 4,000 Nigerians including your fellow Afonja on his payroll on a monthly basis without government support. Isn't that more than enough.

As soon as Innoson established itself as a known automobile manufacturing brand in Africa with huge market base, they should venture into the aviation industry for the building of planes. The market for air travel in Africa is very bright.

comos:
The Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Ibrahim Idris, on Friday justified the arrest of only suspects of Yoruba extraction over the recent clash in Ile-Ife, Osun State, which resulted in the death of about 46 persons. He said crime neither has tribe nor identity.

Idris spoke with State House correspondents shortly after briefing President Muhammadu Buhari of security situations in parts of the country inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The police had been in the eye of the storm for arresting and parading 20 Yoruba persons, including a monarch, over the clash while not a single Hausa/Fulani person was detained.

The pan-Yoruba group, Afenifere; and the Oodua Peoples Congress are among groups and individuals that have been criticising the police over the development.

Idris however said the police would not hesitate to apply the law once criminal cases are established against individuals, irrespective of their tribe.

He said, “You know we are police officers. Crime has no tribe. If you are a criminal, you are a criminal.

“Crime has no face. We don’t look at crime in the identity of where you are coming from.

“As far as you are a criminal and the police find you wanting, we apply the law.”

He said investigation had revealed that the crisis started with a disagreement between two people selling food along the road.

After 50 years of Independence, the government of the so called disadvantaged regions ought to have done something to address the situation. You cannot continue to spoon-feed a child and expect that same child to grow, mature and be independent. A student from Abia scores 130 in the Federal Commonwealth Entrance exam, yet it's almost impossible to gain admission in the school of his choice, yet another child from Zamfara will score less than 5 and gain same admission seamlessly. How do you encourage such a child that hard work and merit pays?

Look at all the appointments the president has made so far, over 90% from the north. They are telling us they are based on merit. My question is how comes, when it comes to appointment, they are hiding under merit to appoint only their own, but when it comes to exams and admission into Federal institutions, they bring in Federal character. I'm an advocate of merit, hardwork, transparency, objectivity and emperical selection process. That way you encourage everybody to work hard for whatever he/she wants. After all, the Bible says, "he who does not work, let him not eat". It's against natural and spiritual justice and principle to take from those who work and give to those who don't work. That in itself is the root of corruption Nigeria. I support the President's fight against corruption.

I advocate the enthronement of merit and objectivity in our national life. So, Mr. President, if you are serious about your anti-corruption mantra, If you are serious about this your new "merit" policy, let's go back to the basis. Start by eliminating all forms of quota system and federal character in the admission process into Unity schools, Federal universities and recruitment/employment into all federal civil service, agencies, parastatals and let's see who will be qualified. That's my humble submission.

Ekealterego:

You are not very bright. Lamborghinis, Maserati and the other luxury cars are all handmade. Many exotic cars are all handmade because you can't just automate the production of cars like that and also the fact that not many are built in a year.
I have been to M.A.N factories and also Daimler in Europe, they have different models. While many M.A.N trucks and engines are usually handcrafted, many Daimler cars mass produced are automated and mind you, there are still thousands of workers per shift in each plants. Being automated doesn't mean there are not many aspects or stages where manual application is not required.
The choice of automation or handmade production doesn't really necessary determine which outcome is better but rather, the demand, quantity and the type of car.
If Innoson fails to get at least 500 thousand sales a year, he might make a loss or run out of business fully automating his plants.

well i must admit your reasoning made sense! in the light of business but at least they should do sometime about their factory it look like a motor mechanics shop at best

@Ekealterego are you on twitter ?

As a business man, this is an opportunity to build his Goodwill with Nigerians.
Instead he's waiting for the government to place orders before he starts manufacturing ventilators.

Or you want audio promise from him?

Shey a good percentage of Nigerians despise his cars, meaning very few buy them. So where is he expected to get money from, or he should donate money he's supposed to use pay his staff and run the company abi?

Air Peace that showed the Nigerian people their goodwill we all know how it turned out when he had issues in the US, we know how it ended even with government aids and high ranking profiles concluding instantly that he was guilty, some even asked the company be closed while others asked him to step down.

Finally, don't coerce people into doing what you think is right especially when you didn't contribute to their progress, success or growth. Let them be the decider of that.
