Oyetola: Osun May Extend COVID-19 Lockdown by jarawa: 10:22pm On Apr 05, 2020 |
Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola, on Sunday said the lockdown in the state owing to COVID-19 may be extended for another two weeks, if necessary. He disclosed that 109 out of the 127 Abidjan returnees quarantined and tested to determine their status have been released from the isolation centre. The governor said one of the first two cases in the state has fully recovered, also tested negative twice and have been released. Speaking in Osogbo on Sunday, Oyetola said the 109 returnees tested negative to Coronavirus and that the remaining 18 that tested positive are receiving treatment and are in good condition. https://www.dailytrust.com.ng/osun-may-extend-covid-19-lockdown-says-oyetola.html 2 Likes 1 Share

Why? What is different about this week or next than the last 3. Give me specifics or I am going to start thinking you're just another fear mongerer. People have to eat. Not all of us have enough room in our houses for weeks worth of food. I don't understand this. What are they not telling us To me it seems they add another week to this virus. I'm about ready to throw up my hands and cautiously start getting out of this isolation. There hasn't been at least 0.1 % of the population in Abuja that has gotten the virus. For the mods that ban me, for saying the truth about a tribe with a crime culture. There's no amount of ban that will change the facts. The world knows, They celebrate criminals. they do have a big problems which is a crime culture. They're very disrespectful and greedy people. Lemme see what rule u will use to ban me this time around. 6 Likes |

So far the gesture would curb the COVID-19 pandemic... Also, the State Government must strategize ways on how to take care of the people most especially those that feeds on their daily earning but can't go out again for business... However, let us remember to Curb COVID-19 with TEAMWORK - as said by NETISM. Cheers 1 Like 1 Share

EXTEND WHAT?? How do these politicians think the common man survive during this lock-down? They should rather allow people to go out to look for their daily bread because there is massive Hunger in the land & implement laws on how people should wear the necessary PPEs to protect themselves instead of this extension. NCDC is now another money making parastatal who keeps inflating figures of people with the so-called corona virus just to stay relevant while state governors are using it to control the mases by subjecting us to poverty. Do these people think of the aftermath of this lock-down on our already dead economy? BOKO HARAM, MALARIA, POVERTY, TRIGGER-HAPPY POLICEMEN/SOLDIERS KILL NIGERIANS ON A DAILY BASIS & THERE IS NO LOCK-DOWN THEN WHY SHOULD THERE BE A LOCK-DOWN BECAUSE OF A FOREIGN VIRUS THAT WE ARE ALL OBVIOUSLY IMMUNE TO? 2 Likes |

Please do and whilst on it, run a massive enlightenment and awareness campaign. People still don't understand the underlying reason for this lockdown. 1 Like 1 Share |
