The likes of UBA, TRANSCORP, FCMB and FIDELITY have all announced to follow in the footsteps of GTB.
...they shall hold their AGM by proxy and follow-up with the payment of dividends as declared in their YE 2019 financial prints.

Maybe, just maybe UCAP and AFPRUD will also tour the same line, since the latter(as the registrar to all including UBA) will equally be in charge of managing the run of all the AGM.
Other coys that are due to hold their AGM should also follow suite.

I think that more companies will likely adopt this stand in time.
...its in their best interest to adopt the proxy method now, than to have to wait until later.
It's a win win for all stakeholders !!

We'll see how things play out from here.
