Stop deceiving yourself, “US simply no longer wants to fight not that they can’t win”. where did you get that from or who told you that, infact the US loves to fight war and flex there muscles and it’s in there DNA to fight and history is there to show it.
When the French left Vietnam the US took over to flex there muscles, we all know what happen last last, they withdrew there troops it was a stalemate. Same thing is happening in the Middle East the Russian couldn’t defeat the mujahideen, backed by the United States now the Russians where tired and left. The same thing is happening to the US, they want to make peace with every terrorist there once sponsored.
Infact the Americans & NATO are making the Middle East worst by the day including Lydia, it’s becoming worst by the day even an unstable mind knows that with all there super power.

Dude war is not a game the Americans are tired and have reached there “diminishing law of return” ? Over 18 years and still on battling terrorism globally. Sure some politicians and war mongers, defense contractors wouldn’t want an end to these dirty wars.
But the soldiers who risks the odds are fucking tired

Fantastic post!!

US is making a deal with Talbans because it is not their war!!
Do you expect the US to make a deal with the Taliban if they were operating in Philadelphia?
Well, no one forced or begged the USA to invade Afghanistan, they foolishly invaded Afghanistan and removed a legitimate government. How many Taliban government officials did they arrest and prosecute for supporting Alqaeda? Why didn't they invade Pakistan after finding out Osama bin laden was living in Pakistan? The USA lost in Afghanistan just the way the USSR lost. Is just a matter of time, the Taliban government will take over Afghanistan again. No excuse or any other thing can change it. Nigeria will surely win this war against boko haram and ISWAP, but no one knows when we will win.

How many of you remembered the geospatial intelligence data centre NAF commisioned last year? Is it that the people working there are using the resources to upload post on facebook or what?
Why did Chad have to involve Israel in mapping out the lake chad region before they could attack when Nigeria has the facilities too. Or was it just propaganda and we don't have anything?

This makes no sense.

The US entered Afghanistan because 3,000 Americans were killed in 9/11.

The US has the world's largest forward force projection. Whether in Colombus or Kandahar they can deliver the punch.

The US is making the deal with the Taliban because after nearly 20 years of US and NATO military operations in Afghanistan, they have come to the realisation that they cannot win militarily.
The guy makes it seems as if the Afghanistan people or government begged the USA to come to their aid grin

The USA went there voluntarily. I wander on what basis he got 5 likes. Nigeria politicians and executive officers are not serious about ending this war, that's why is been going on for more than 9 years.

One day we will have a president that will totally crush boko haram and ISWAP, and put an end to it. But I don't see buhari regime ending this boko haram issue.

As things are now, the Nigerian army is not winning the war against boko haram and insurgency. Someone is calling what the Chad president is doing a PR stunt grin what has your own President done Our own president promised to lead the war from the front, let him start by visiting borno north.

Nigeria lost more than a hundred soldier last month, what's the response of the CDS,Minister of defense, Buhari didn't even make a statement.

Why do we hardly hear from our minister of defense sef

The war on terror in the north east should be restructure sef. There should be a 3 star General commanding the war effort, and his headquarter should be in Maiduguri, he should have armed and unarmed drones, attack helos, helos, fighter jets, tanks, artillery, Air force personnel, army personnel, navy personnel, MOPOL and SARS etc under his command. He does not need to cry to anybody or report to anybody in Abuja. If he is to report to anybody, it should be the CDS, minister of defense or the President.

The center is operational from here in collaboration with ISR NAF decides on target to strike...
The truth is CHAD and Nigeria will never cooperate. The fault is on their side. It was a joint ops between MNJTF why should Israel do it...
During the whole operation ISR, Close air support and Air interdiction ( before ground offensive) was done by NAF.
Aerial command(Fire control)
Airlifts of logistics with helicopters was done by NAF

Now I'm not trying to hype the Nigeria military we bleeped up big time
And the chadians did very well
But all credits don't go to them but MNJTF..
Major of the operation was not done in Nigeria territory

Boko-Haram War: Nigerian Army Suspends Voluntary Retirement Of Soldiers. Meaning, You Can No Longer Resign From The Nigerian Army.

▪️In an internal memo, the Nigerian Army has suspended approvals for voluntary retirement requests from soldiers, saying the rate at which applications to quit service was flooding its headquarters lately was “disheartening”.

The directive, which military sources told PREMIUM TIMES went out late March, said all forms 9B (military retirement application document) have been suspended and would no longer be made available to soldiers willing to voluntarily discharge from service.

No Neighboring Country will be ready to cooperate with Nigeria on this war. You want to cooperate with a country that is not ready to decimate these bastards?

There was an incidence that happened in April last year here in Monguno. ISWAP showed up in the night around 7pm screaming "Allahu Akbar" and firing into the air. Everywhere was cold here in Monguno for over an hour.

Everyone was waiting to see a military reinforcement. An hour later Chadian Soldiers rolled out from the Barracks in hot chase of these bastards towards Marte. That night the Chadians did not return as they camped in Marte LGA.

The next morning they brought three bodies of ISWAP members. From our rumour mills here, they complained that the Nigeria top military did not give them a go ahead to chase these guys on time.

Don’t let us deceive our selves, even if terrorism in Nigerian is been fought by Russia, American and Israeli military they will not put end to it. They might even make things worst which is there trade mark.
Terrorism is an ideology you can only reduce it to the minimal.

America has been fighting terrorism in Somalia since 1993.

Thank you for the pics

The first pic is a deep sea diving suit , not used in combat . But used for investigation of underwater objects like sunken ships , repair / salvage of underwater objects , inspection etc.

Anyways look like it is naval diver training course to me.

Cannot confirm though.

grin The intelligent questions I like to see, not someone talking about what one soldier did in warri

That said, I must say the Chadians must have been political in choosing Israel. Methinks and its very evident in Africa, there's always this aversion to African partners as per in future that said country will surely ask for favors —something that they're obliged to give.
