Honestly the regular oranges we have at home are just as good when they are really really ripe. Only thing is we don’t have the patience to wait. I guess.

This is the only type I can find here. I sometimes crave those ones with greenish zest.

How's the lockdown treating you in your location?
Honestly, I've always been an indoor person so it's really had little or no impact on me. I only step out to buy stuff, church is once in a Blue Moon, these are the two things that take me out most of the time.
For the most part of last week, markets were closed. It's been reopened but I still haven't stepped out because the house was stocked the first time announcement of the lockdown was made.

Home is annoyingly "full" so I really can't wait for it all to be over so everyone can go out while I have my peace.
Yours is already been spiced up with forgotten pepper LOL! How's yours too? Have you found time to replace the pepper or how you go do now?

He hehe cheesy I'm a core introvert o. But my job makes me go out and open up to people. But fortunately, my company complied with the #StayAtHome #WorkFromHome order, I happy gaaan. So I've been at home, eating and getting fat. Some evenings, I stroll around my neighborhood cautiously to see how the lockdown and curfew is affecting others here.

Luckily, light in my area has been near-constant, so movies, my phone and my bestie are my companions.

Yeah, I stocked up too. That's why the lost pepper dey pain me cos twas expensive, aboki no gree reduce price for me. I haven't been able to replace the pepper sha, but I may do that during the week.

Lest I forget, I have board games at home to play too. In all, I thank God.

Continue to stay safe.

how come your eggs refused to get to stiff peaks whn you have a hand mixer? Or u mistakenly got the yolk inside the white?
I really don't know what happened. It maybe because I added too much vanilla essence or because I used a big plastic bowl for 3 eggs or because I melted the sugar and egg mix over double boiler before I whipped.

My pancake is never thick like this on the inside please I'll need your receipe..

¾ cup + 1 tbsp flour
¼ tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 egg yolk
3 egg whites
2 tbsp melted butter
½ cup + 4 tbsp buttermilk (to make butter milk, add ½ tbsp of lemon juice or vinegar to the milk)
2½ tbsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Zest of lemon

Whip the egg whites till it forms stiff peak, add the sugar 1 tbsp at a time while whipping. Set aside.
Mix the buttermilk, egg yolk, vanilla and melted butter together.
Zest in your lemon.
Sieve in your flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix together....do not over mix
Next, carefully fold in the whipped egg whites (don't over mix o).
Add small butter (about half tsp) or drops of oil on your non-stick pan. Allow to melt.
Using your ½ cup, scoop in the pancake batter into the pan...once you see bubbles on the top, flip over and cook for 30 sec - 1 min. Repeat this process till your batter is finished
Top with syrup or honey!

Something funny and annoying happened yesterday.

So I sundried dry peppers on a tray on top BooBoo's car. He asked me to put it there o. Later we decided to drive out around the neighborhood to take fresh air as we tire to stay inside house.
Would you believe we both forgot to remove the pepper tray from the roof of the car?

Only for me to say lemme blend my pepper and keep this morning as there's light, I suddenly remembered I last saw the pepper on the car roof #tears

Ahhhh!! Pepper that yaff cost wella in this Covid-19 period ke? E pain me o

The image of a car driving and spraying peppers grin have refused to leave my brain, God why me!!!

We have NEVER seen you post even cup of water. Except instigating trouble and looking for heads to jam. All is definitely not well with you.

Throwbaq to this semo and afang I ate at Biobak. I have a feeling it was cooked by a Yoruba woman, married to an Ibibio man. The pepper was on another level.
