China & other European countries funded the movement. The Cubans, Chinese & Russians provided military training. It seems all you lot did was donate some land & dilapidated buildings, which they had to refurbish themselves, using monies donated from abroad. @everyone who read African history would know the Benin empire was known for slavery they sold each other to Arabs and later to Portuguese in the 1450s they even sold of their people to Sao Time island.... It was a jungle with Walls and mud huts and naked evil dark negroes.... they sold each other to the Hausa's in the north for textiles and beads earlier before Europeans arrival and later sold each other to Europeans.
