since the lock down, is there any driver here who has not even for once checked his driver's app just out of curiosity ? Raise your hand up.
I've not even mistakenly clicked on it once.

Thank you all for your inputs and suggestions, I really appreciate. Well, the reason I want to put it on 25k is to avoid remittance stories from drivers, then secondly I will be doing maintenance myself with a dedicated mechanical , I will buy oil and filters myself, send to the mechanic when its due, the drivers will go and park it for my mechanic to service. But judging from you guys input , I think you HP is better than rentals. I may be starting with two Honda civic cars to taste the waters. Thanks guys
Two isnt bad at all.

What ever option you go with should be ok but if you opting for rental don't go for Honda since you have a plan of selling it after 2yrs. Honda cars have a very poor resale value when compare to Toyota cars.

Lastly, I would advice that you hold in for like 2-3months after the lockdown and the pandemic in general. Because there'll be a serious recession across the globe once this pandemic is over so it will be good for anyone to hold onto their capital for a while and see how government policies and every other section including the market plays out before going on to invest in any business.

Any which way bros I wish you good luck!

why are road contractors all around the country not working especially those in Lagos State? Isnt this the best time for them to complete all pending projects instead of closing roads and obstructing traffic all in the name of road contruction?

You're right, since those doing the construction are not people but Droids.

Good morning guys. How does Uber/Bolt take their commission when the rider pays in cash? If they do from your current balance online, what if you have not have a card trip for sometime and they cannot deduct their commission from your account balance?

And the Policemen and other security operatives presently on the road are DROIDS, right?

This is a good time to embark on road maintenance. But of course, there are so many other factors in play that may make them not go into it at the moment.

You should be fine as long as vehicle is in good condition.

Fuel economy is fantastic being a Nissan.

Replacement parts are readily available,it's the non American version of Nissan versa.

Has more leg room than the Corolla, no oga pls adjust your seat all the time. Hated that a lot when I was using Corolla.

Good morning prestigious drivers and car owners. Please I'm asking this question for a very good friend. He was very active on Uber as a driver, but his account got deactivated the second time, after a high number of declining requests, and he didn't visit Uber office to sort them out. Now he wants to leave for the UK after this whole pandemic is out. Experts in the house, please do u think he can still drive on Uber when he gets to UK, despite his account bn deactivated here in Nigeria?

Thanks

Uber/bolt takes it's commission from your card trips. In case you are having only cash trips, uber's/bolt's will keep being counted against you, you will see how much you're owing them on your app. Any time you have a card trip, the commission will be taken from the card trip. If you have credit left on that card trip, it will be credited to you, but if the card trip still can't cancel the debt, your debt remains whatever left after the card trip amount is deducted from the debt.

If your debt is getting uncomfortably high for you, you may pay them to their bank accts to cancel your debt.

Hope my story was clear and helpful a lil enough?

Good day.

Uber is worldwide, he simply can't drive in UK with the same account or details. Even if he changes all his account details, as long as it's the same person, he will be found out with their facial recognition technology. Let him sort out his issues with Uber here first before travelling. If his account gets reactivated, you can use the same account anywhere in the world, as long as you meet their document requirements in your new country of host.

My only fear is that your friend may not be reactivated again since the account was not suspended. His hustling days with Uber may be over.

He may be found out within one week. Won't he take selfies or have a profile picture? Uber is a technology company and they always decode some of these tricks. He has to sort himself out or forget about using Uber. Same person, two accounts will be detected.
