Chai!!
This stock was begging buyers up till this morning when trading started but they were looking away. It sold down to 1.41 as at yesterday before bouncing back to close at 1.51.
It was even shouted enough here.
Hhmmm, it's well.

I just got the money I wanted to use to trade, it was tied up previously unfortunately

Please, I bought zenith at 19.50
I'm thinking of selling it now at35% loss and rebuying when it tanks again. Do you think it's financially wise?
I will say don't sell it. If you have fund buy more to average down your cost price.
OR:
Just leave it and use the fund to key-in to another good stock which can appreciate to reduce the loss. Zenith will still go up, it may not be on straight line, but gradually.

NB: This is my opinion.

It's okay.
You may still bid it lower than today's closing price, maybe it will get there. The only issue is that you don't trade yourself, if I get you right.
In the alternative, you may go for another good stock that's yet to move.
Look before you leap anyway.....my opinion.

How can a company that made profit of 200 billion sell for 150 million. grin

If you are lucky to buy at this multi year low, you will think twice before taking profit.

Now is time to hold.

Dude is good. ...I am privileged to know him on a personal level.
But beyond been good, he is very open-minded.
I also like the fact that he does things with honesty and sincerity of purpose.
...which is why u'll often find that he preaches what we does and act out what we preaches !!

Regards

The thing about failure to lead a life of the path in bold, is why Manchester City and England right back, Kyle Walker has now been suspended from Intl duty after preaching to his followers to observe stay at home protocols and going ahead to do the party and s*x thing with some call girls, and why renowned Nollywood actress Funke Akindele and hubby were both fined and sentenced to a 14-day community service by the LASG after going against what they preach and profess(on covid-19) by holding a house party.

...though these punitive measures might seem minot on the surface, the bigger impact should come with the likely dent it would have on their celebrity status, and even more, the 'strike' on their God-given conscience.

Moral: It can be hugely unrewarding when u seek to deceive people by acting out the opposite of what u preach or preaching the opposite of what u do.
Like I've always said here in past; better to remain quiet and do ur thing(silently) than to seek to guide with a motive to deceive.

If not for anything; do things because u know that God in heaven is watching u and can very well reward u according to ur deeds !!

Everything will depend on one's investment personality, strategic play and investment horizon though.

Helicopter chatter and other related services was part of essential services mandated by the FG to work at this time.
...which was why most of the company's fleet had been working all along. I mentioned it here back then(more money for the coy)
Unless there was a suspected case of the 2 pilots(who were arrested) bringing in a carrier expatriate or other individuals... otherwise, the company is binded by law to carry on with its usual offshore and onshore oil & gas related services.

Anyway, this one na very small 'akamu' case. grin grin grin
...the matter will be swiftly sorted out/settled !! wink cheesy grin
Watch out.

It is well.

I replied your mail since day one but you never get back to me.

Full bid means buyers wanted to buy a particular stock at the highest price trading for the day but there are no sellers.

So, this drives up the price of the stock?

But I really thought they would have released their result by now

The delay with the release of their YE report is quite understandable.
The company gave guidance of the need to consolidate the result from their other subsidiaries(ie Cameroon) with that of the group.
YE financial print should be released on or before the end of his month.

It is well.

The low seems to have passed. All it needs to do now is to stay up at a level. Most stocks worldwide are doing same. The wealth transfer has happened.

So na to siddon inside plane and be reading newspaper.

The money printed worldwide must enter NSE. A friend showed me the loan that his banks are offering him. It was at 0.01% per month. This is a wicked money. Money that can cause excessive price rise. grin grin

Sir, are you saying it is too late to load more? Especially on the likes of zenith, wapco, gtb, fbn??

Good evening house.
Pls with the analysis below. If FBNH succeeds in the sales of FBN INSURANCE at a good bargain. Do you foresee them rewarding their shareholders? Am learning and still a novice here. Pls no tongue lash
onegentleguy:
http://www.nse.com.ng/Financial_NewsDocs/29601_FBN_HOLDINGS_PLC_FINANCIAL_STATEMENTS_APRIL_2020.pdf

FBNH YE 2019 financial print.

Highlights;

• Improved indices accross several key revenue and earnings line.

• 38k dividend proposed(up 52% from prev yr)

• Planned divestiture. ...the group plans to divest from its 65% holding in FBN INSURANCE.
Sale shall be to the core investor, SANLAM pty ltd who already holds the balance of 35% stake in FBN INSURANCE.
I believe that this was the same group that recently bought over Continental Re from minority investors.
For emphasis, SANLAM Pty Ltd owns a majority stake in SAHAM FINANCES which owns CRe AFRICA(continental Re africa) that bought over Continental Re Nig.
...so FBNH is likely to get a good deal from the divestment.

Is FBNH a good buy @ current price?
...I'd answer in the affirmative.
However, I believe there are BETTER coys in the bourse right now !!

I shall review the report a bit more in due course.
