The name of the school is memorial university of Newfoundland. Although the deposit is part of the tuition fees and I could include the receipt as part of the deposit during my visa application. Right?
The 2000 is refundable, but only if you get delayed/denied by CIC (once you send them the delay letter they will refund your money). But we don't pray it gets to that

Please, will only paying tuition deposit instead of full tuition affect my TRV approval

Thanks.
No it won't affect as long as you have the funds readily available in your account or that of your sponsor

Sorry about your refusal
As much as you’re writing a better SOP, also try to submit supporting documents that clearly show ties etc

Goodluck next time

My visa application(student) was recently denied on grounds that my incentives to remain in canada after the end of my studies outweigh my ties to my home country and that my study plan was vague and poorly documented. Please I need help to proof read my statement of purpose and advice on my next step
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Nobody: 8:00pm On Apr 08, 2020
This may not be relevant i dunno, but just wanted to add that I also attached offer letters from the U.K. & Ireland to show that I have other options & Canada is not the end of the world. (Mentioned on the SOP too)

Also in terms of funds, don’t submit a statement with eg 6m which is required for you to show, but when they call the bank to verify, the money is now 4m. You will get a refusal saying insufficient funds to support yourself.

Your SOP shouldn’t be full of stories, how you did something from childhood etc. Just straight to the point like a graduate.

Just thought I should add these but please note that it’s from own experience. Yours might defer.

Goodluck

Hello Eveyone,

I have been getting emails about which documents I submitted. I have decided to just put it here for the general public.

Documents submitted;

- School Offer letter for September from University of Windsor for Masters program (2 years). I think there’s a luck with this university. People usually get their study permits granted when they’ve applied to this university.

- Proof of Tuition Payment ( I paid in full)

- Proof of Accommodation ( I already rented a two bedroom flat and got a contract sent to me)

- Undergraduate Transcripts & degree certificate

- CV (I wrote a standard one)

- Self Sponsored so I submitted my bank statements with about 40m. Note that there was no lodgement of funds.

- My landed property documents

- Statement of purpose/LOE (Outsourced)

- Other Supporting documents like business registration certificate, award certificates,etc

- Of course passport, birth certificate and other mandatory documents.

- Previous Issued Visas

I did not use any agent for the second application

Let me know if you have any questions
I will answer when I can

If I remember anything else, I will input

how many pages or words are sufficient? Some people advised we use a well-detailed LOE. Is a well-detailed LOE not supposed to have lots of stories?

4 pages. Don’t know how many words. I meant stories that touch

Yes, all the documents you listed are spot on.

In a nutshell, the visa officer needs you to convince him/her that you are a genuine student.

Okay thanks. That means no need to hurry until all documents are in place.

Don't ignore it except you have a backup option and don't forget to be acquainted with their refund policy.

All the best

Hello house, my sister and her husband want to apply for study at University of Windsor, they currently have two kids. Is it possible for them to be granted a study visa?
@NwanyiOkpa and other gurus.

Having kids doesn’t have anything to do with the visa.

Uni of Windsor is good

Btw, why are they wanting to study together? Who will take care of the kids? I hope they’ve planned that already

@NwanyiOkpa and other gurus.

Going with kids only mean that you need to provide more funds to cater to their needs. There is a required amount for each dependant according to the Canadian immigration laws. I can't really remember specifically. Perhaps, our gurus can help us with that.

Well from what you have stated, you earn over 10m per annum and since you will be applying from where you reside my advise will be,use your salary account I think it has a good activity making up to that amount a year is not that bad you will have to tell your siblings to pay in the MOney they owe you to that account to make it stronger..
All the best.
Thanks
My concern is if this would raise eyebrows if I lodge in such amount now for the September intake. I was planning to use both account (The one over here to prove the source of the funds in Nigeria) Again it will be easier to keep the money in home account. I still have some records of western union transaction I used to send the cash to my sister's account from where I reside.

Hello Preshy2004,

Considering is age coupled with the reason to help him settle due to his inexperience as a teenager, you can put in a family application ONLY if there is sufficient funds to show. Its best you apply for a visit visa. This normal has been a practice for parents, especially mothers whose teenage child is resuming classes as an UG, even the whites practice this too.

All the best.
ok Thank you

Good day all, please I’ll like for someone to help me on the documents I need to apply for a study permit to Conestoga. I just got admitted into the pgd for September intake. I’d also love info on the proof of income like how much naira has to be in the account. I currently work in a bank as a contract worker but my mum will sponsor me. I’m supposed to use an agent by I don’t have 100% trust in him. I’d love details from people who have helpful ideas. Thanks

Resumption = September 2020

FIRST Application

online application = 15 the February

Biometrics = 28th February

Reasons for refusal

Sorry bro.... Pls concentrate on how your new job would give you more point. See they usually accord marks to each items for which you are appraised. Just work well on that. Luckily u just got a new job, I hope it pays well.

Did you use sponsor and did you pay tuition fees upfront?
