Crossing, by my own understanding is when brokers trade within customers accounts by just moving certain number of units of a particular stock from one customer to another, maybe one customer wants to sell another wants to buy, they just cross it without bringing it to the floor.......but all transactions must passed thru the NSE engine, that's why we sometimes see high volumes being crossed on the engine e.g. the 61M units of GTB crossed yesterday.
* Also, the crossing could be from one stockbroker to another.
That's what I know. smiley

God bless your knowledge

Dont go and get mis-informed because of sentiment ooo.
It resisted further price shedding at 60kobo, traded mostly at 68kobo in today's market before a panic seller came to drop the price to 65kobo.
Anyone with insider info can assist here.
I dont want what happened to me in CCNN due to sentiment to repeat itself. I dey find money bargain seriously now. grin

OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM CAVERTON GROUP...

“At the start of the COVID-19 lockdown, we received a letter from our client stating that they have been given approval/ exemption to fly and continue operations.
We (Caverton along with three other companies) also received approval from the Minister of Aviation to fly only essential services, mainly in the Oil and Gas industry”.

“Lastly, we got another approval from the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) to fly for this same oil and gas sector. We have been flying along with these guidelines for the past seven days”.

“Today, we were informed that the Governor of Rivers State, Mr Nyesom Wike was coming to address the operators in Port Harcourt and our people waited. But on arriving, the governor directed two of our pilots to be taken to CID where they were told to write statements".

“Despite all pleas by our lawyers who showed all the relevant documents, they were taken to the magistrate court and charged. At the court, our lawyers also presented all the documentations approving us to fly by the federal government but the case was closed and the pilots have been remanded in Port Harcourt prison till the 19th May.”

“We appeal to the federal government to urge the Rivers State government to release our pilots who violated no law and are being unduly punished for reasons we still do not understand.”

https://www.vanguardngr.com/2020/04/breaking-caverton-appeals-to-fg-to-prevail-on-wike-to-release-its-detained-pilots/

It was just as expected.
Like I said before; this is a very minor matter. ...so there's absolutely NO need to fret.
It will be sorted out.

Selah

cc: @DeRuggedProf

@OGG, watching Politics Today and seeing how the minister unequivocally reprimanded Gov. Wike and the military personnel that aided in the arrest of the pilots, it’s clear that Caverton and it’s pilots will be exonerated from all charges soonest as you rightly opined.
Kudos for your succinct analysis as usual.

Was laughing in Swahili while reading the link !! grin grin grin

CAVERTON' zonal office in PH(which is their main operational base in the state) is located right inside the Nigerian Airforce Base.
Which local gov't chairman will dare to go near there?
...who's got the balls !!

The pivotal thing is that CAVERTON had the requisite licence to operate. ...even at this time.(covid-19 in view)
...and that that licence was duly granted to it by the FG, who by all LAWs governing the Nigerian state controls the Airspace.
This is also in tandem with airspace best management practices accross the globe.

CAVERTON is more like an indirect Federal Govt contractor.(it even plays direct roles sometimes)
...and so their services are often needed by companies in the oil & gas sector that support cashflow generation for the country, from where every state, including Rivers(where Wike is gov) gets funds via state allocations.
Nigeria rely heavily on earnings from the oil & gas sector, hence the need to allow the likes of CAVERTON and a few others operate at this time.
...so he(wike) can't stop them from operating in the state.
By the way, CAVERTON also operates in other states like Lagos, warri in Delta state, and the Govs there haven't acted out this way.
Well it looks like the Shell I.A(industrial area) office, also in Port Harcourt is still currently operational. Issue was with the NAF Base office.

Anyway, the Gov(Wike) is just looking for settlement m***y. wink cheesy grin
A few days ago, this same Gov complained of not getting enough covid-19 relief(N10B) like Lagos from the FG. ...but probably forgot that coys like CAVERTON are a crucial part of the players that can help the FG deliver such reliefs.

Gov Wike's actual problem is with the FG, not CAVERTON !!
CAVERTON is merely been used as "a cat's paw" to see if he can get what he wants.
We already have a hint of what's playing out.
The matter is just a minor one. ...it will be sorted out in earnest !!

Just HOLD on to ur CAVERTON and be overprotective of it. ...in fact, ACCUMULATE more if u can.
It will pay to do so !!

It is well.

PRESS STATEMENT BY THE MINISTER OF AVIATION, Sen. Hadi Sirika...

“Civil Aviation is on the exclusive list. No other person but the federal government has the authority to legislate that. The Nigeria Air Force and the Armed Forces are also on the exclusive list. There is no other person but the federal government that has the legal right to legislate that."

“So, the Air Force officer who jumped the Commander in Chief and ignored, who also jumped the Chief of Defence Staff and ignored, who jumped the Chief of Air Staff and ignored to call a governor to come into the property of a federal government and blaming the Nigeria Air Force has exhibited dangerous ignorance and incompetence grossly."

“So, the police that followed the governor in there to make the arrest also exhibited dangerous ignorance from our perspective in civil aviation."

“We approved the flight and we did in the national interest. All of those flights were to improve the national revenue to which River state is the greatest beneficiary. So, those flights by Caverton, Aero Contractor, Bristow, Arik and a couple more were for national interests and improved national revenue."

"At a time when oil has gone below $30 and the cost of production is $30, in the wisdom of President Buhari, he thought that this is allowed even in this national pandemic so that the nation will not be crippled and the national revenue will not be lost."

“It is against this background that we have the authority being it exclusively on the exclusive list that and we have the powers in civil aviation guided by the Civil Aviation Act 2006 approved such flights."

“So, those flights were approved lawfully and legally. We will do everything lawful and legal and reasonable to get those pilots back and the operations will continue in the national interest.”

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/bill-gates-crosses-digital-rubicon-says-mass-gatherings-may-not-return-without-global

A recurring theme among conspiracy theorists is that the elite are just waiting for the right moment to roll out their ‘mark of the beast’ technology to remotely identify and control every single human being on the planet, thus sealing their plans for a one world government. And with many people willing to do just about anything to get back to some sense of normalcy, those fears appear more justified with each passing day.

In the Book of Revelation [13:16-17], there is a passage that has attracted the imagination of believers and disbelievers throughout the ages, and perhaps never more so than right now: “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark…”"

n September 2019, just three months before the coronavirus first appeared in China, ID2020, a San Francisco-based biometric company that counts Microsoft as one of its founding members, quietly announced it was undertaking a new project that involves the “exploration of multiple biometric identification technologies for infants” that is based on “infant immunization” and only uses the “most successful approaches”.
