In my experience with how diseases kill generally, your comorbidities ( old age, heart disease, obesity, COPD, cancer, immunosuppression etc) are more significant than things like how much Vit D, Iron, or Calcium etc you have in your body.

It's not the stats Im reading, it's the absence of deaths.
Nigerians are not practicing any social distancing. We can't. This virus has been here since beginning of March. It has had enough time to spread. But people are not dying in the streets of Lagos yet. That is what I have been expecting but it simply hasn't happened

In the UK, socio economic conditions has a huge part to play in the discrepancy in figures but so does the Size of the population. London the epicentre of the outbreak in the UK has around 40% of people classified as being from a Black or Ethnic minority group so that is bound to affect the overall figures. London dominates the top ten boroughs with the highest amount of Covid 19 patients.

Cultural beliefs also plays a part too. For example we all know compared to their white counterparts, people of Black(Africans in particular) and South Asian origin tend to live in larger households. As we all know living in such close proximity to one another means the Virus will spread at a much faster rate . Now combine that with the fact that quite a huge portion of the at risk group comes from those Ethnic backgrounds then you realise it's a disaster waiting to happen.
