Ablemax:Looool Do you know what it takes for someone to sponsor you? Do you also assume people on an online forum would trust you enough to "sponsor you"? 11 Likes |

What if you answer No to the question of UK sponsor? Getting someone who doesn't know you to vouch for you as sponsor can be diificult. There has to be a connection between you. But you can still try. What if certain documents is later required from the sponsor? 2 Likes |

Hello guys, Hope Nigerians in London are safe. Apparently Coronavirus is clearing up ethnic minorities or rather having a disproportionate impact on people from ethnic minority backgrounds. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/uk-52219070 |

Ablemax:I'm not refuting your claims. Also, is "seeing you" a basis for someone to trust you. Kindly educate me, what does it mean to sponsor you? Do you have to click yes too? 1 Like |

Olalekank: seeing me is not a prove to been trust worthy but atleast it counts the sponsor am looking for is to provide home contact and mobile phone number so as to prove i wont be stranded and homeless there at the time of my recruitment Dats all nothing more |

Ablemax: I'm a British Army airborne veteran (16 Medical Regt, Royal Army Medical Corps), but even I cannot sponsor anyone. Plus, a sponsor cannot increase your chances of getting a visa to go for the physical assessment tests in the UK. I would advice you to come to the UK via any legal route, and apply whilst your visa is still valid. I cannot help with sponsorship, but if there is anything you need to know about the recruitment process etc, ask it here. I left the army many years ago with my veteran badge and lots of good memories of travelling around the world. I owe a lot to the army and I would never discourage anyone from joining. Good luck with it. 12 Likes |

Ablemax: ..for you yes but not for the sponsor. Select No then complete the form, you will still get the visa if you can convince the ECO that you are financially capable of taking care of yourself While in the UK. 5 Likes |

Iyanu6000:If you are a doctor, there’s a Facebook group, Nigerian doctors in the UK. It is very helpful. I don’t think there’s a dedicated Nairaland thread for it. But I’m happy to answer any queries you have. 2 Likes |

What's happening in the UK? The number of Covid-19 cases is over 73000 and just less than 350 has recovered. Similarly in Ireland. If their approach is not working, they should be flexible and seek help from countries with high recovery rate like Germany. Just wondering if they are really concerned about this disturbing trend! Of course I'm bothered. |
