Good to hear your experience .Thanks a lot for this response.. Pls what are your skills, are they in the IT domain... I am trying to avoid normal factory job and the likes in Germany.I need a job where I can use thoes IT skills I have.. Do you think I am good to go ? And what's your city/state

And pls let me add this : what job were you doing before and after graduation? Also your course of study

Yes I work in the IT domain as a developer. I don't know about avoiding the factory job for a start, my experience was that I had to do that for a couple of months before I got a student position as a developer, others experience may differ from mine though.

I am yet to see anybody I know in Germany with skills in the IT domain without a job and that doesn't mean they got the job after a couple of Job applications but with persistence and focus they all did. So, like I said previously with your skills , you should get a job. However, I can't say how long that would take.

Good day everyone, pls I'm in a dilemma and I need help. I've had so much hope on this German waka but as it seems, I won't be going again as no AD since last year. I've been trying to unblock the funds I have with Fintiba but to no avail. I know I'm suppose to book appointment to get a letter from the Consulate but due to the lockdown and all, I can't seem to get any appointment date. Any other person in this situation?? Pls help me out, I really need to get this money ASAP. Pls all help and advice will be highly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello NL
Is it advisable to pay semester fee and participate in the enrolment process (by proxy) without having Appointment Date yet. Can it be of advantage in any way?

for uniassist, assuming I want to apply to 5 different schools. will I submit 5 separate application documents for each school or only one document will serve all the 5 schools.

There will come a time when that will stop moving you...
It's not the classic but the process...

Seriously it's surprising to see people as old as still learning to ride bicycle here in germany... Some Nigerians even like to make show of it... That they have and can ride bicycle.... Bicycle ooo... Something wey I ride tire for Nigeria.... The only thing that moves me now is a car..... Driving a car

Thanks a lot, I understand now... I guess you don't want to say much about your job and Msc course which I understand but I want to know if your Msc course is in the area of software development also considering the fact that you got a professional job after graduation or if course of study is not in software development area, do you think I stand a good chance of getting a professional job by strongly building on just the skills I have now without a good Msc in computer science or IT related field ....My Bsc is in Electrical and Electronic Engineering...I am going for Msc Communication systems and networks in Th Koln (Cologne)....I am still looking for other admissions in courses closer to data analytics /data science or software engineering but it is has not been easy to get thoes courses with my Engineering bachelors degree.

I have a few questions about admissions application via uni-assist, i want to apply to two different schools, but their portal will be open on different months for winter. according to uniassist, if i’m to apply for three schools, the first will be 75Euro will the other two will be 35.
But case here is that these three school applications portal will open on different date, one will close before the other opens. since i want to save cost, if i select all the school on unassist portal before the school portal opens for application will uniassist send my application to the school date for application in one of the school reaches i.e start date for application

you should consider reading the thread from d beginning, like start from number 1, all the steps r already discussed there.

but if ur question is about how the covid-19 is going to affect things, well schools have already started applications for winter semester, so you can apply and lets all hope the situation gets better soon.

No matter what skills you possess, you need the language man. That's a hard fact people especially Nigerians try to deny.

Just learn the language....
