Also let me address the issue of comparing the intellect of the professor and Michael Scofield...
Now to address it, both of them have different areas of expertise...
Prof is good at heists...not only the planning but he can predict how others will react...he can predict different scenerios that could pan out and make contingencies...he is very good at mind games...can easily fool you into doing what he wants...and knows how to make use of ur weakness
But he's not perfect... because humans are humans...and thus are only predictable to an extent...


I can't remember much about Scofield but I remember his expertise is different... His expertise is more focused on breaking in and breaking out...also he knows how to get out of tight situations...I believe he is more of an on-the-spot thinker than the prof too...

My point is, if you call Scofield for such a heist, he'll most likely fail cos he won't plan for the contingencies
Also if prof is in a position where he has to break out of a prison, he'll most likely fail

the first heist, they were not stealing, they printed their own money...they didn't steal from anyone...
And it was a reaction to some things the EU had been doing... especially a recent event few years before the heist...I don't wanna go into it...but it was talked about

They spent over a week there...what would they be doing during the period they weren't under any attack? In fact the drama is even a better way to reduce the pressure...
Like I said, all these that happened will occur if you put a group of people under such situation...yes not to that level but there's bound to be drama after a few days

Nah Michael Scofield makes a lot of mistakes and miscalculations unlike the professor, example is the way Michael Scofield put a lot of effort to plan the season 1's break but it didn't go as planned but we see the professor planning to the extent of successfully predicting the exact minutes and seconds something might happen... It does though. Too much screen time is given to romantic angles and emotional scenes, and less time to plot development. Below are few similarities it shares with a typical telenovela.

1. A love triangle.

2. There's always emotional tantrums/melodrama.

3. The women all look like supermodels.

4. Someone always gets severely injured or dies.

5. Money Heist won Colombian Best International series of 2018 under Telenovela category.

Lastly, stop giving yourself HBP over something that's irrelevant. Telenovela or not, Money Heist is very entertaining and fans love it for this. This is what ought to matter, yes?

For instance, I recently concluded an American telenovela, Why Women Kill, and it was entertaining asf.

I just finally started Queen of the South today...
It really feels like a telenovela...what's funny is the hypocrites who don't say this about this show... yet call Money Heist a Telenovela...
So far Queen of the South even fits that title way way better...

But to these hypocrites, one is a telenovela cos they speak Spanish but the other is not cos it's in English...
