I'm not so sure of sex but I know Catholics are to abstain from meat and anything they enjoy most on this day. It is a day of sober reflection. If you're not a Catholic, don't put mouth in what you don't understand.

If Friday is Sabat, you have to keep it holy. Why must you have sex today? That can wait till tomorrow now

Good Friday is like every other day. If you truly respect the sacrifice of Christ on the cross, you won't willingly sin on any day of the year

1. There is no biblical injunction against sex on a good Friday. However,
2. It makes sense that the day be reserved for sober reflection, in appreciation of God's ineffable sacrifice of love....

In summary, it is personal, but you got nothing to loose by obeying!

Your major concern should be covid 19 and how to survive not sex.
