After President Buhari announced late last night that the ANC government and the Corona Virus Command Council decided to extend the lockdown by two 2 months Nigerians expressed fears, annoyance and some disapproval while a few welcomed this decision. The hullabaloo and public outcry was not just mere cries but concerns on how many poor Nigerians will be able to get through. But the reality is if one has a deeper appreciation of global politics, they will know that the lockdown extension was eminent. And that there might be another extension after this current one..

extending the lockdown is not the solution. the best approach is create a policy that will mandate everyone to a face mask before leaving their home whether you are infected or not.
