I think one of the reasons most celebrities are found in LA is the climate which is favorable to them, where they don't mostly get to unfashionable clothes during winter. I too feel LA is overated, Atlanta is fast becoming home of celebrities these days, everyone be moving out of LA |

NumeroUno7:Yeah Atlanta is growing fast but LA still remain the hot spot for celebs though. And they mostly get killed there. Oh, Miami has nice weather too and less homicide 4 Likes 1 Share |

This is a trying time mehn. I believe God will supply my needs according to his riches. I didnt take the Corona Virus issues serious until it became a pandemic but I'm hoping for the best. Bills have to be paid. Need to take care of my Parents no matter what. Chicago on lockdown. It is terrible. My bills are too much mehn but I learned some lessons We are equal no matter financial situation. You get the virus, You get quarantined! The Virus doesn't care whether you are rich or poor. It's so funny the our so called rich people cant even travel outside the country to get treatment. Our leaders will be forced to taste the healthcare they abandoned. Well enough of them. 18 Likes 4 Shares |

My time in Nigeria opened my eyes to stuffs that wasnt a big deal by then. Here in Chicago, Police moves with Pistols and I'm trying to understand by policemen in Nigeria move around with Ak47. I was at accessbank trying to do a transfer and the "big guy" that was supposed to approve the transfer was just looking at the form on his table and pressing his phone. I knew the cashier was pissed but he couldn't say anything. If he get fired for not doing his job, He will be screaming village people. The airport securities are always rude and are corrupt to the bones. Corruption runs in their blood. 14 Likes |

I believe in power of your tongue and I believe in dreams(positive ones). I had a friend whose Parents are very rich, sometimes in late 1990s, he told me he was travelling to London with 4 of his brothers for vacation. I was so happy for him. Upon their arrival back to Nigeria, I went to Visit him. Infact one of my relatives came back from UK that time and gave me a T shirt. So I wanted to honor my friend and I had on that T shirt that day with my best trousers. Went his house, he gave us candies, pictures, served us rice and turkey(I wished that food never finished that day). So he told us to go out. He came back with swipes of timberland boots, also with a brand new ps2. I was so obsessed with ps2 that time I could remember Maltina was doing a "win a gift" and ps2 happens to be included. I remember using all my lesson fees to buy Maltina in order to win a ps2 but it never happened.. Long story short, he told me to go home and change my clothes so as we all hang out. I went home, I met my mom what happened. She told me "Everything is just a matter of time". Remember I wore my best clothes to his place so I wondered what clothes will i wear again but like I said, everything in life is just a matter of time. 44 Likes 4 Shares |

Years later, I myself was playing a ps2 slim and I was resting my head on a big ps2. Even though I never bought the ps2 at the right time but I later had it and I could remember that time ps3 was just released or so but I had it that ps2 I have ever wanted. In life nothing is impossible. 22 Likes 1 Share |

Growing up, I have always dreamed of achieving many things at the age 30years. been a millionaire, have my own house and so many things. I have always imagine myself having my own house with 5 cars(Toyota Camry 2000, Honda EOD, Honda Evil Spirit, Muscle and a Venza) each of them serving different purposes and before the age of 30 years, I had bought my first land even though my mom gave my half of the money. Before i reached 30yrs, i had developed it greatly and Yes, i recorded my first million sitting down in my account exactly at the age of 30years even though having 5 cars never happened lol. It can only happen that time if I am/was a full time bank robber lol Don't get me wrong, I had seen poverty how it looked like but my Parents esp my mom never allowed we the kids to feel it cos she will rather not eat in order to make sure we have good food. 32 Likes 6 Shares |

Re: Adventures Of Lionlee216 by lionlee216(m): 1:47am On Apr 11, 2020 |
At this point, I didn't record my first million overnight. It was a gradual process. It started on nairaland. I don't even know how I got to know about nairaland but I was wasting my time in the romance section involving myself in all this romance stories and "Woo a lady challenge" sexkilz was the moderator at that point in time. I dont know what took me to the business section and there I knw about importation business. Bisbloke just opened his thread back then. I remember my first order was a tablet and it was successful. I pulled resources together with daaz and stated importing watches and Brazilian hair and started selling even though we never had it easy. From China, I shifted my attention to US market. I bought from ebay and Amazon and I was using shippyme. I used chinosxl, mikky and bisbloke. So I can gladly say Nairaland through the likes of the shippers on there contributed to my success. I love reading and getting information and it has helped me alot during the journey of my life. 30 Likes 4 Shares |

God knows and I know deep inside me that I will be a proud person when I have money but the grace of God is sufficient for me Getting to the US, I been working and when I have some time, I'll do food delivery food and the pay was cool. I started building my bank account up but with more money comes more responsibilities. I have my plans already made and I don't plan to die in the US. as a matter of fact, I have less than 30 years to spend in the US and enjoy my retirement in Nigeria . I have been very careful with the kind of friends I have in the US. Infact I only have a friend(Nigerian) here in the US that I talk to frequently. Don't blame me. I'm trying to stay away from trouble. Our people dont want to help you cos they want you to be more successful than them. So I prefer to stay in my lane. Recently, I have understood the power of money. If you have money, it can always get you "almost" anything you want esp when it comes to girls which I'll discuss shortly 12 Likes 1 Share |

I have seen how lonely girls can be in the US esp single girls that come here to hustle. First they cross the hustle of green card then start looking for love. I have seen so many beautiful girls wasting their beauty cos no Nigerian guys approaching them for marriage. Then one even approaching them just want to have sex and leave. Those guys are struggling and having Nigerian girlfriends itself as an headache. They(Those that I know and I heard of) prefer chasing AA girls for dem sexual satisfaction. Except for their craziness, they really dont come with trouble. Go on a date, get to know each other, get acquainted and have access to regular sex. Nothing like "how much will you be giving me monthly, pay my rent, light bills". Some guys are generous enough to be paying their phone Bills though. They see sex as nothing and are ready to give it to you anytime anyday anywhere. Some Nigerian girls, once u had sex with them, they start assuming the roles of a wife and Naija guys are not ready for that kind of bullshits. Really I feel for these Nigerian girls over here. 22 Likes 2 Shares |

America has taught me alot of things. Our girls deserve to be loved irrespective of their age, kids or not. After all, most of us chase AA and oyinbo with kid(s), so why not a Nigerian lady too in the same situation. If I'm in Nigeria, I'll never open door or pulling out a chair for a lady but here has taught me to be more romantic Our people needs to know time is money. No person will be talking or calling talking about irrelevant things. I hope once our naija guys shows naija ladies some love, they wont take it for granted cos most d ladies are suffering and smiling. Bye bye oooooooooo 12 Likes 1 Share |

Let me add my 2 cents to what Lion lee has said regarding naija girls, what they really want is for a man to chase like we do back in naija and naija guys are not really into that, here, if you want something you go for it. I could remember one of my long lost high school friends, we reconnected on facebook, she is living in Chicago(a nurse), fine girl with big boobs (i so love boobs), we got talking and it was all going good, once i told that i am in MN, her response was " lets hook this weekend, you want me to come over, i can do the driving, i just told her sorry, them go hook me. I can remember her words vividly "naija men are scarce and we are losing them to the outsiders. Naija girls solution is simple, they should drop that "chase me" entitlement. 12 Likes |
