Gather here if you think WHO and China wasn't transparent with the world in the way this pandemic was handled, from all indications, they trivialized the corona virus that's why the whole world is suffering.

Even USA and the whole of Europe trivialised the disease. No wonder they are at this precarious position. President Donald is just looking for somebody to blame because of the election.

The current leadership of WHO need to step down

Trump has blamed

Obama
WHO
His Officials

And has refused to take responsibility for anything even though he was warned. Hes the one who should step down. While China were closing their borders cos people were dying, the orange orangutan said the virus is just mere flu and it will go away by itself

Reducing funding for WHO is shooting himself in the foot. China will just occupy a more strategic position

Trump isnt a leader, he is clueless.. Infact he's just a white Buhari

Trump will not fool anyone with this one, from blaming the Democrats, to China and now WHO. As the US recorded 2000 deaths on a single day he knew that the blame lands on his feet because he never took this seriously from the beginning and was listening to Fox News opinion hosts.

He refused to help some states governors because they are not appreciative, lied about the availability of test kits etc.

If he decided to defund WHO he opens door for China or Russian to fund that organisation and take influential position.

U are talking nonsense out of ur hate for Trump....y blame Trump like as Americans are the only ones being killed by this disease... No country took this seriously due to the recommendation from WHO , until Italians started dying like fowls... Trump is even doing his best managing the number of deaths... America is a population of about 330 million... What would u say about Spain and UK that recorded about a thousand deaths a day?? The Chinese lied to the world about the true nature of this disease.... I'm also sure they lied about the number of casualties as a communist Nation that they are

WHO told Trump that the virus is like a flu that will magically go away? That its a hoax from Democrats?

WHO truly deserve blame.

They published only what China wanted them to publish,
They ignored Taiwan's warning that the covid19 is airborne, China was busy covering it.

WHO is the reason it became a pandemic because they were trying to please the Chinese Communist Party

WHO helped the China Communist Party conceal and cover up the virus even after many whistleblowers had alarmed the Chinese government.
The US commits USD 500 million to the body yearly, while China commits USD 50 million to it.But the body is China-centric or China-centred as Trump put as it.
For me, I think China deliberately allowed the virus spiral out of control and become a pandemic, knowing full well that much of the world, the West were not prepared nor have capacity to manage the disaster. Is it not logical to say that China is now profiting from this disaster? It allowed it it to wreak havoc on the world, considering she's building her military and economic capabilities in the middle of a seemingly unrelenting pandemic.
The collective of the world must bring China to account when the dust finally settles.

This buffoon is just all about the politics. Was it WHO that spent weeks calling the virus a hoax and misleading millions of Americans? Was it WHO that disbanded America's pandemic response apparatus? Was it WHO that rejected covid 19 test kits when it was initially offered to America? Is it WHO that is at this moment ceasing funding for covid 19 testing points in America?
Trump go Bleep yourself, if you like withdraw American funds from WHO, it still doesn't change the fact that you are an incompetent, lying, evil slowpoke. BTW China will simply fill in the gap, if the U.S suspends funding for WHO.

Trump will soft pedal.

If USA backs down, it means selling 3rd world countries to China.

But there will be serious repercussions for WHO officials after this saga ends.

If only China knows what harm it has caused himself because they were not transparent in handling this covid 19.

It will not be spontaneous but most countries would start developing capacities in production so as not to rely on China massively.

Some other Asian countries might likely be the new brides like who would known Vietnam can chun out 55,000 ventilators monthly inside this crisis.

Imagine what they can do it its over.

No matter the stock China buys now, in the end, they will lose.

Its China VS the world.

Even USA won't win such a war.

You have grossly underestimated China. China is a powerful country; with time it will be more powerful. USA can not stop the rise and rise of China, it can only undermine it like Trump has done with Huawei.

[s]See your teeth like help. The leadership of WHO really messed up big time.

A pandemic killed thousands before WHO could classify it as a pandemic. A friend said WHO has a protocol for classifying a disease as a pandemic, true, but, there have been cases where a disease had a worldwide spread (which classify as a pandemic), but they didn't call the disease a pandemic, because it killed very little or nobody.

You have a virus that was already killing thousands in China, and from studies, it could easily be spread by respiratory droplets, but WHO declined to call the disease a pandemic and warn other govts all over the world on time.

Now disease has killed thousands, and Can't be controlled.

WHO's leadership should step down[/s]
Re: US To Review Funding To WHO Next Week by oghenetega100(f): 7:40am On Apr 11, 2020
Please they have failed woefully as far as this pandemic is concerned, its the same WHO that said people should not wear face masks, now we know otherwise. they get billions of dollars yearly for what really?
DriggityDre:

See your teeth like step down. It's not as easy as you think. The virus was unpredictable and it was probably still in its mutation process. Do you know how much help this present WHO administration has offered to Africa?! If you do not, go and do some research.

Modified:
So you say because they couldn't detect human-human transmission as a result of the virus' mutation, they should step down. In plain decision, yes. But the UN knows that problem could have been averted but for the virus' mutation hence, no news of any sacks or layoffs. Although, on my part, they should have spent more time researching without jumping to conclusion.
But really, sacking them because of an error out of the much good they did for our people?! Come on.

Your neighbours house is on fire, you should join and quench the fire there...he was the first to send a plane to carry his people, let the fire consume China, like say him get one medicine when him go give him people or arrival, them go well. Now him dey run around with untested hydroxychloroqine even against the advise of scientist ...but China on the whole had less than 4000 deaths, how many deaths are in New York alone, a state of the USA.

I love reading analysis from folks like you. People think China is winning this war but in truth, the harm it's doing to them is unimaginable. But should Trump remove funding from who, China will step up and will court most countries to abandon the USA.
