If you follow d steps u should not v issue.
---unlock Ur phone bootloader
---flash custom recovery (TWRP or Orange Fox Recovery for your phone
---flash Magisk zip file thru d custom recovery to root ur phone

pls i hv a xiaomi mi max prime phone, the screen damaged and d battery was swollen so i bought new battery and screen. i kept d phone for some time before i bought d new battery and screen to it and now engineer fixed d screen and i put d new battery but d phone will just on display logo befr booting to desktop stage it will off and if u on it again it will on like befr and off .
I hv flash it but still remain like dat.
