Lostz: Eat your children's future. You are not wrong. But we sell raw materials that is used to produce a lot of end products. Without Congo you wouldn't have that phonr in your hand. But they force kids and pay them slave labour. Diamonds de but debeers controls the market. Is there anything wronf paying better wages? They pay slave labour then charge so much for the end product they send bavk to us to buy. Essentially economic rape. Let me give you an example Google had a small project they had people around the world do. They would pay $125. When people in naija finished they only paid $75. When contactef google had the nerve to say thry paid based on purchasing power. But when we buy their products we pay same as western world and they do not factor in PPP then. This is the issue with capitalism. And we need to continue to fight hard. And not just keep buying products. Make them build a factory and emply workers. Pay well. Not just allow them to cart away raw materials at slave prices. We produce the cocoa used for most chocolates. Yet we are not paid sustainably. Things need to change. But we still have protected British children in power. 1 Like 1 Share |

For those asking that the veggies be be sent to countries thst need them, just know this veggies can not sate any hunger. What can onions, lettuce and cabbage do to relieve hunger? If it were carb filled grains then that would have been an entirely different ballgame. But since grain can be stored indefinitely, they'll never be free grains. For the milk hiwever, rather than waste it they could have churned butter or made cheese. 1 Like |

This is weird. Especially with the number of people resorting to food stamps and food kitchens you'd think this was a time for compassionate utilisation of excess agricultural produce. I also read that the less fortunate are being disproportionately hit by the virus in the US, particularly black populations. They are known to have poor dietary choices (socio-economic related) and may be more vulnerable. Maybe they could have found a way of getting people in urban populations to start eating healthy and having less dietary related problems to burden their health systems with. What a bizarro world we live in. 1 Like |

persius555: Farms and Food companies are not nationalized in most countries. Whenever food production was nationalized like in China, Soviet Russia, Zimbabwe and Venezuela millions died of famine because the government officials had no clue how to mange the infrastructure and corruption. Although even if we dismantle current governments people of similar ideology will group together to form their own types of government. This is because it's very easy for private entities to take advantage of people without any checks in place. |

GermanMelania: You are not a major player in any other product except crude. It is left for employees and their employer to agree on pay. China with all their production still import food. The amount they spend on importing food yearly should be way bigger than your entire budget. Nice food is supposed to be a right not a privilege We have the highest paid politicians in the world here. You should not blame the rest of the world for the way you run your country 1 Like |

Lostz: I can't argue with you. Nice food is a right but livable wages aren't? Forced labour of children is fine? Kontinue. Maybe read wikileaks. I wish we were allowed to run our country the wey we like. Instead we are still ruled by feudal lords. You have zero knowledge of world current and recent history events. Or maybe you are being willfully ignorant. Cheers. 2 Likes |
