Ola Aina is being linked with a return to the Premier League less than ten months after joining Torino on a permanent deal. West Ham and Everton have both been alerted to the availability of the versatile right-back who wants to return to his country of birth because he is homesick. According to Calciomercato, Torino are not willing to sell Aina for less than ten million euros, the amount they signed him from Chelsea in 2019. Aina's first season at Torino was brilliant and he established a reputation as one of the fastest and versatile players in the Italian Serie A but has experienced ups and downs this term. One of the reasons behind his inconsistent form could be due to burnout as he was back playing competitively for Torino less than one month after starring at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, where he went the distance in five games. Aina's contract with Torino expires at the end of the 2022-2023 season. 1 Like |

Belgian scout Stéphane Pauwels, who has worked for French clubs FC Metz, Monaco and Valenciennes FC, has revealed that he recommended Victor Osimhen to several French clubs before Lille swooped for his services in the summer of 2019. The unnamed French Ligue 1 clubs were not willing to take a gamble on Osimhen who was then playing for Sporting Charleroi in Belgium. Lille believed in Osimhen's qualities and are set to benefit from his future sale, having slapped an asking price of more than 80 million euros on the Nigeria international before the coronavirus crisis. Writing in his column for la Voix du Nord via africatopsports.com, Pauwels said : "Listen, I was very critical at the start with Gérard Lopez and I must admit that for the past two years, they have been doing remarkable work. I think they’ll be fine. "They have Luis Campos, a guy who works remarkably. I can tell you that I had talked about Victor Osimhen to a lot of clubs in France and not a single one has moved. Campos had been watching for months and this is the result today". Osimhen has scored 22 goals for club and country since the start of the 2019-2020 season. |

daveP: It's just a case of 2 egoistic men. The boss and the apprentice. The boss was wrong, but won't admit it. While the apprentice has admitted he's wrong. The boss being egoistical, wanted to have the last laugh, and demanded from the apprentice. The apprentice being egoistical would rather die than do that. So, they parted ways...... 2 Likes 1 Share |

This is why I think Rohr would sign the contract: When this corona wahala is all over, everyone would be looking to hold onto what they have and not putting themselves out there with in the world of uncertainties. And again, I don't see any other African country pay him more than he's getting here. He's not hungry, agreed, how is his other business fairing during this period? |

junnyjake:The question is can NFF find a coach as good as he is that will accept 55k per month and all the ridiculous demands? We know Pinnick is being held by the balls and forced to do all this nonsense. Rohr has nothing to lose. I want him to leave so these agents and merchants will destroy the little progress we've made. 3 Likes 1 Share |
