I was a bit disappointed when I read the 1,000 part. Tells you some of those begging are either not that needy or they feel entitled.

This is the more reason why I find it hard to help anonymous persons online, unless they come across as reasonable and truly in need. Many people cook up stories online.

I prefer people I can assess at close quarters, even though I have no interest in broadcasting anything done. I just don't want anyone to see me as a mugu.

Sorry, sire, I have to disagree with the bold sentence if you are referring to the PS. It depends on the individual. For someone like me, it could come across as just a jocular way of excusing oneself.

The reason I decided to put that was because someone might just see it and write something like: "N1,000 means a lot to me right now, please send it." I was only trying to avoid that sort of.

I agree completely that life happens! No argument at all. You might even notice something along that line in some of my past posts.
