India and Pakistan are even the reason why cricket has over a billion followers worldwide.. remove those 2 and it's less than a billion...

There are only a few countries in the world where cricket is the main sport..and a few more where it is a major sport... Overall,u can't count up to 40 countries where cricket is a big deal.. but basketball just like football is a universal sport..and our Kenyan and South African brothers suck at those 2 sport
