At the end of the civil war in 1970 every Igbo man was just given 20 pounds. All the wealth they created before the war has gone. It was indeed a painful experience to watch all you built over the years to crumble before your eyes. Their motive was to crumble the Igbos financially so that they will be their slave for ever and will never have the mind or economic potentials to fight when faced with marginalisation and careful segregation. But they don't know that the God that created Igbos have already prepared them for a time like this.

Unfortunately the table turned and the people who never witnessed the effect of the civil war are the ones who are now begging from the coastline of the South West Nigeria to the interior Nothern Nigeria.

The Igbos dusted themselves from the agony of the Civil war which saw blood of over 4 million innocent children grouple down the throat of the Biafran soil. According to one of the witness of Biafran War, it was a tale of tears, sorrow and agony watching your loved ones die in cold blood. The mothers watch their children develop protruded stomach and malnurished skin.

After the War, Igbos doubled their resilience spirit and put everything behind and started afresh. This time around not with huge capital base but with a mere 20 punds. The wealth of Biafrans was seized by the then minister of Finance Awolowo and was used to enrich the South West so called sophisticated Billonaires and Mago Mago Northern Billoanaires. They accessed this fund and was able to float different businesses and today they are comparing themselves with the harcore Igbo Entrepreneurs who built a city from nothing.

An old man once told me that Igbos are one of the tribes in the world that can survive in a desert turn it into a city. That trait was what they displayed when they rebuilt Onitsha which was destroyed to its tap root. Even Obasanjo can't believe his eyes, that Onitsha which he saw been destroyed is now standing as a mordern city with no Federal assistance.

From the 20 Pounds given to every Igbo man, the Igbos were able to integrate into the mainstream of Nigeria socio-economic Landscape and today they are Virtually controlling all facets of Nigeria Economy. A character which portrays them as the real evangels of the purported "One Nigeria".

Any day I pass through Alaba International, Lagos Trade Fair, Idumota, Ariaria, Onitsha Main market and many other markets which the Igbos build single handedly in another man's soil. I will only shake my head, shrug my shoulder and nod my head that indeed Igbos/Biafrans are great.

Igbo Business have witness lot of post Civil war Marginalisation, a good example is when the Federal Government granted Dangote a Monopolostic market by making sure his closest competitor Ibeto suffers severe business restrictions. Now tell me how Dangote who controls the Commodity Market of the Largest Market in Africa won't emerge as the African richest.

Ok, and so what? Why must you people always try to tell everybody that you are billionaires? This is becoming something else. Almost everyday some person must open one thread about how igbo is the this and that of this world. What for? This is becoming something else.

If you read this article well you will see the part where I said that Igbos are the real Evangels of one Nigeria. If I am tribal, I won't be in another tribes soil doing business and paying tax to it's government. We know the tribe with tribal sentiment.

Why is the truth in this case bitter if indeed it is the truth? If Igbos are indeed the "real billionaires" is that statement not a negative indictment of Igbos today given what Ala Igbo is despite parading so many "real billionaires"?

Igbos are deserting the region for greener pastures so obviously your rich dont share their wealth or use it to benefit society. It can be argued the "real billionaires" are worthless billionaires.

Igbos can only decieve those that haven't been to the south east...

The Igbos are not rich as they portray on social media!!

Igbo land is not developed as they want everyone to believe...

Igbos have large number of beggars and vulnerable people in the south east

They keep Reminding us of 3yrs civil war that took place since 1967...telling us how better their region is compare to other regions in Nigeria!!

Let me expose these lies...

Maiduguri that has suffered 12yrs of war is in every aspect better than Enugu and Anambra put together...

If you've been to maiduguri and have been to Enugu... You'll know what I'm talking about...

It's only maiduguri villages that is largely affected... Which their governor is working on...

The south east is underdeveloped...

No good roads, no light, no presence of infrastructural development... Nothing!!

They only come online to post pictures of best estates in the south east...

And tell you they're better than every region...

This is maiduguri...after 12yrs of insurgency!!

Yet maiduguri is still in every aspect more developed than the entire South east...

Harsh truth is that it is Igbo people who wake daily with a pathological need to validate themselves through claming superiority over others in one way or the other or with one thing or another. Whereas others are not dragging d1ck size with them.

If it is not boasting about having more billionaires than others it is bragging of having more mansions or larger number of fair-skinned people and all such nonsense.

It is pathetic and only shows that the Igbo man is deeply insecure despite his constant chest beating. In fact the Igbo man's deep insecurity is behind his desperate need to beat his chest daily and non-stop.

...Smile, I would rather you say 'some Igbo men' never generalize a group of people or population based on your sampled few. I get your point though.
We all in this country are mostly guilty of this one way or the other and until we begin to change our orientation one person at a time... There will be trouble ahead! Thanks bro
