Only Nigerian army train their soldiers to inflict pain on her citizens. Half of the soldiers are trained not to understand their job description sadly even to the top generals, they have no clue what and how they are supposed to treat there citizens and we wonder why other countries treat us like animals.

bros I've never left the country b4 but I can confidently tell you no military sees himself equal to a civilian in any part of the world, if the Nigerian army choose to use the word bloody civilian as a yardstick of difference, I think it's largely based on individuality.

yea no doubt there is corruption in the promotion heirachy in the NA but guy it's very minimal compared to other sectors the Nigerian army I can boast of having at least 5merit out of 10 NDA recruited cadets I can bet on that. I've seen sons of generals and senators fail in the defence academy and also son of Nobody getting admitted.
Promotion from recruits to conel is highly on merit, though some maneuver their way out of which half are caught and demoted later in the future.
If you merit the rank in the NA it'll be given to you in full.
The only obstacles in NA promotion is from conel to Brig Gen.
NA there politics and strogness enter..
