Pan Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenifere on Monday said it accepted President Muhammadu Buhari’s decision to extend the lockdown of Lagos, Ogun and FCT for another 14 days.

The organisation in a statement by Yinka Odumakin, its National Publicity Secretary however said it is worried by the social Investment programme of the government which is not getting to poor Nigerians.

Afenifere also said President Buhari should also address the insecurity challenges that has become the order of the day in the affected states.

We understand why it is necessary to extend the lockdown and took note of his appreciation of the sacrifices of the past two weeks”.

“But we have our worry about the continuation of the so-called palliatives of the past 14 days. We doubt if this is reaching the people. And it is a fact that you can’t get palliatives to the people from Abuja”.

“The idea of promising to reach 3.6 m households in a country with over 80m people living in extreme poverty is a far cry”

“How much of the economy can we build in the midst of Coronavirus that we didn’t build in time we didn’t have a pandemic remains to be seen”.

Really?

The idea of promising to reach 3.6 m households in a country with over 80m people living in extreme poverty is a far cry
The reason Afenifere is coming up with this convoluted garbage is the existence of some foolish maggots who become brainless whenever it has to do with insulting the president.

How do you start with household and end up with people, just to suit one jaundiced narrative. So each household has one person?

Anyway, crackpots can now feast on the dogshit as usual.

Buhari does not run Nigeria base on your wailings. He has outlined his COVID 19 palliative measures and economic stimulus package complete with comprehensive medical intervention policy.

Anyone that is not satisfied with everything this old man has done so far should relocate to Chad and beg Idriss Deby for 500 years asylum!!!

You guys can always release the share of the loot Jonathan gave you for his re-election if you truly are concerned about the plight of the poor, unfortunately government capacity is significantly low and inadequate to meet up with the many challenges we have, due to years of pillaging and looting of our resources.

I'm telling you.

If FFK log into his Twitter account now and say "from a reliable source, all Katsina state indigens have gotten their accounts credited with N1million each", trust them, they will swallow everything because anything that has to do with insulting Buhari, their brains will be as good as noodles.

Yet certain people keep speaking about twenty pounds given to them since the 70s, I am sure talking about billions and trillions stolen from Nigeria under Jonathan era of locust which represents a lost opportunity for us as a country is far more significant and pressing to our current situation and must be emphasized.
