NISRAL are suppose to support individuals with CBN backed loan of 50bn Naira to support the economic during the pandemic. Though registration has commenced, I haven’t heard anything about it since days ago when the registration started. I think I posted the link here also.

There are government owned TV and radio stations that can be used to run jingles to encourage people to register for this of the government is actually serious and being sincere about this programme. Things like that should be the job of National Orientation Agency. What are they doing? I know a lot of retired people who clutch on to their radio listening to news for news items like this. These are people who learnt about registration of LASRAA on radio, if the government announces this social welfare programme on radio I'm sure they won't hesitate to register.

This is why Ekiti, Osun and other states will continue to have low number of people registered under the programme because nobody is passing this info to them

I'm seriously confused about the whole talks of social register o.

In August 2018, bbc pidgin did an article on the conditional cash transfer and even interviewed some of the beneficiaries in Anambra.

Is it that you skipped everything I have been typing since or you are just deliberately overlooking them? Please pay attention or else this discuss is an exercise in futility.

1. It is the state government that are tasked with compiling their social register while NSIP monitors carry out the PMT test to vet the list.

2. This program is based on communities. Like I explained earlier if you were paying attention each communities will define what poverty means to them and then identify the poorest among them in their various communities, these names will then be send to the ward and then to the local government. NSIP will then vet this names using their own PMT method. I already explained all these before, I don’t know why I have to explain again to you.

3. Pls pay attention to this very important point. There are still over 300 LGA that are yet to be captured in the National Social Register. That’s like 45% of the total Local Government in the country. That’s why I said State governments need to get to work since they are the one that will coordinate and train these CBT staff to carry out the program in each local government.

It is not a register where everyone goes to write down their names. I already explained the process for you.
