I just finished my research about it and I can tell that that city is planned, the rate of urban planning applied in that city is not a joke. Zoom the pic and see those houses appearing like shacks. Take a look at pic one, the closest view of that city, the tallest buildings has made other iconic highrises look dwarf.
On other hand, Lagos has not at any point met the zoning criteria, you just showed me area of residential which is at close proximity with industrial area and that should also speak volume, take a look at pic two.

On basketball vs Cricket..

Here are the established facts

1) basketball beats cricket in terms of tv viewership as evident in the screenshot I posted above regarding the number of tv viewership for the last basketball and cricket world cups

2) the NBA is among the top 5 most valuable sport leagues in the world. the IPL which is one of the biggest cricket league in the world isn't even among the top 10. The NBA is by far more valuable than the IPL and even the Australian league

3) Basketball is widely accepted in more country than cricket

4) South Africa and Kenya sucks really hard at basketball


Conclusion: basketball is a bigger sport than cricket

Anybody that disagrees with the conclusion should go for a mental checkup
