I gave my Mum the greatest shock of her life yesterday.

Some days ago, we were talking the Nigerian situation & how bad it is, I reminded her how she and other brought this yeye government to power... the next thing, Mama flair up saying "we voted for them noniyen, so are you going to beat me? She yelled on me on phone", I asked her really? No remorse, refusing to take responsibility for her mistake. As a wise guy, I kept shut waiting for my chance.

Now, the perfect chance came yesterday when she flashed me while I called back, narrating how it have been tough for them to feed @ home. I waited patiently for her to complete her narration, for her mind I don't turn down requests like that, but my response got her gasping for air.

I told her "you argued with me some days ago without remorsefulness that you aren't sorry for making mistake of bringing this nonsense government to power. I went further saying the little I have is meant for me & my girlfriend, if you need money or food go knock on the door of the ones you voted into power".

She couldn't believe her ears cos I've never given her such harsh response all my life, I always do everything to meet her demands, but the failure to take responsibility of being part of the stewards that rode this nonsense Government into power got me really really mad that I waited patiently for her to request money from me so I can bombard her

Even after everything, it still pains me I wasn't harsh enough in my response to her. Next thing, she told my sisters to call me... Ogbeni, I daju pa ni o, aiit giving no money. Make she sef reap what she sowed.

While the Buhari govt is looting the treasury silly in the name of COVID the downtrodden are also looting what ever food they can find to survive ..tale of the most corrupt place on earth
