It's like you and I read very different history books. South Africa did not fight any terrorists because it was the only terrorist in that region at that time. What it was doing was willfully ignoring UN resolutions, invading independent countries at will, and making war on all that sought the establishment of independent states in the southern part of Africa, cos this would lead to the end of its genocidal apartheid regime.
Talking of terrorists, South Africa was the main supporter of UNITA, a group of undisciplined rapists who delighted in bloodshed and massacres.

South West Africa (Namibia) was not independent at the time. South-Africa ran South West Africa.

South-Africa was fighting SWAPO who are a guerrilla group. SWAPO had support from FAPLA in Angola.

Unlike other jobs in Nigeria, the recruitment process for the DSS can’t be done online. If you want to start your application process – you should follow the DSS Nigeria Website www.dss.gov.ng for instructions. The DSS Nigeria 2020 recruitment has already started nationwide. It’s good news for people who want to dedicate their lives to the service of the country.

It’s not an online registration, so all submission forms should be done hand-to-hand. If you want to become one of the members of the DSS Nigeria Army, then you will need:

A letter indicating local government of origin. It should be signed by a local government authority;
Handwritten application letter to The Director-General, State Security Service, Abuja. Current Director-General of the SSS is Lawal Musa Daura;
Statements of results;
Two-color passport photos.
You will need all documents above for registration at the Department of State Service. Do not forget that the DSS of Nigeria recruitment does not request payment for your application. You need to visit the State Security Service headquarters in your state of origin and submit your documents.
Visiting the DSS/SSS website will do a lot of great and for more detailed information.

I know of SWAPO and Nujoma. So you are saying all independence groups in southern Africa are terrorists? Like how dare people there aspire to be independent from the great and magnificently racist South Africa, right?
You are saying south west Africa was not independent at that time, but you didn't state that was because South Africa was furiously blocking all attempts at independence.

PRESS RELEASE

POLICE SMASH NOTORIOUS CAR STEALING SYNDICATE, ARREST FEMALE ARMOURER OF ANOTHER KIDNAP GANG

- Recover 21 stolen cars of different makes, arms and ammunition

The Nigeria Police Special Tactical Squad (STS) has smashed a two-man car stealing gang led by one Bashir Isiaku, aged 34, notorious for stealing cars from the car park of the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH). The arrest of Bashir, a graduate of one of the Federal Polytechnics, came after painstaking efforts and investigations by operatives of the STS to hunt down the criminals. Bashir and his accomplice, Aminu Yakubu specialized in using customized master key, crafted out of screwdriver to open and start vehicles. Police investigations show that their choices of cars are ones without special security features such as pedal or steering locks. A total of twenty-one (21) vehicles have so far been recovered from the hoodlums and their criminal receivers.

The following criminal receivers have also been arrested: in Funtua - Rilwanu Garba, Ibrahim Hassan, Kabiru Aliyu, Sikiru Danjuma, Bashir Abba; in Sokoto - Dodo Danbello, Mudeen Adelera, Nasiru Bello, Hassan Bawa; in Kucheri - Magazine Garba; in Tsafe - Yushehu Abdullahi; in Gusau - Abdurazaq Adekoya; and in Marafa - Kabiru Aliyu.

The recovered vehicles comprise 2 Opel Vectra, 1 Toyota Camry, 1 Honda CRV, 2 Toyota Carinae, 7 Golf-3, 1 Toyota Corolla, 6 Honda Civic and 1 Toyota Avensis. The suspects claimed that they found it easy to steal in JUTH due to the lax security at JUTH premises. Police investigations reveal that their choice cars are Toyota products, Honda products, and Volkswagen especially the Golf brand because these brand of cars are in high demand by criminal receivers, either in whole or in parts across the country and other neighboring countries.

In the light of the above, members of the public whose cars were stolen between January 2019 and March 2020, within the premises of Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) are advised to come forward for possible identification and recovery. Nigerians are equally enjoined to take extra measures to secure their cars by utilizing special security features such as steering or pedal locks, tracking systems, etc. In the same vein, institutions and organizations are encouraged to enhance security and access control within their premises to minimize the possibility of theft and other mischief by criminals.

Similarly, a 28 year old female armourer, Fatima Garba has been arrested alongside her gang of kidnappers and armed robbers, notorious for attacking innocent Nigerians around Sokoto, Kebbi, Kaduna and Niger States. As an armourer, Fatima was responsible for ensuring the safety of the weapons used by the gang whenever not in use. Fatima, who confessed of being the gang’s armourer for over a year, claimed to receive a handsome reward each time the weapons were returned to her after each operation. She acknowledged knowing that the arms which she usually kept in a neatly dug hole in her compound were used for robberies, kidnapping and other criminal purposes. Investigations show that Fatima, who is a trader and single mother of two was recruited by her boyfriend Abubakar Usman. Other members of the gang include: Samaila Usman ‘m’ aged 28, Mohammed Ibrahim ‘m’ aged 30, Mohammed Agali ‘m’ aged 22, Dahiru Bello ‘m’ aged 33, Shamsu Mohammed ‘m’ aged 30, Mohammed Usman ‘m’ aged 37, Umar Abdullahi ‘m’ 33, Buhari Abubakar ‘m’ aged 33 and Abubakar Garba ‘m’ aged 37. Since they began operations, the gang is estimated to have made over twelve million naira from their various criminal escapades.

Recovered from the gang are:

- 5 AK47 rifles

- 1 G3 rifle

- 1 Berretta pistol

- 1476 rounds of ammunition

- 36 rounds of G3 ammunition

- 6 AK47 magazines

- 1 operational vehicle

- 8 mobile phones

- Box containing operational tools

All the suspects will be charged to court at the conclusion of investigations.

Meanwhile, the Inspector-General of Police, IGP M.A. Adamu, NPM, mni assures Nigerians of the continued commitment of the Force to the protection of lives and property and rid the country of crime and criminality especially during this lockdown period.

On 14 April 2014 at about 6:45am, two bombs exploded at a crowded bus station in Nyanya, Nasarawa, killing at least 88 people and injuring at least 200. The bus station is 8 km southwest of central Federal Capital

Exactly 6 years ago when BHT carried out one of the most deadliest bomb attack on civilians in Abuja - Nassarawa express road.

During this dark time there where bomb attacks carried out on mosque, churches and Vehicle park etc. the military and other state security service has managed to stop this bombings and pushed them back to the N.E theatre which was there initial staging point. Yet people will still rant about how the present military chiefs are not competent, his is that they easily forget or they are just here to rant.

The Nigerian Military has said that no civilian was killed during an air strike conducted by Air Task Force of Operation LAFIYA DOLE at Shokotoko Village in Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State contrary to media reports. In a statement signed by Coordinator, Defence Media Operations, Major General John Enenche, narrated that the operation, which was conducted on the night of 9 and early hours of 10 April, was based on credible intelligence reports, obtained from land forces and other security agencies. He said that the information which was vetted revealed that the target location was occupied solely by Boko Haram Terrorists. He said the attack helicopter that executed the mission was accompanied by an Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) aircraft to ensure proper targeting for avoidance of collateral damage. Enenche disclosed that the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) pilots, by training and in line with extant Rules of Engagement (ROEs) for the operation, do not attack any location if it is observed that non-combatants, especially women and children, are present. He said rather the pilots would return to Base with their munitions unexpended. He said that investigations were being carried out on the media report to allay public concerns hence, subsequent actions will be taken in line with extant regulations and best practices.

Have you done any in depth open source investigations.

I for one have not done to any depth personally.

It can be very time consuming and the scope expansve before you start harvesting the data to micro relate it, then using other sources time link it spatially to make very credible conclusions on the specifics.

Conclusions that are considered substansive enough to be presented in a court of law and convictions obtained.

It may be difficultin in parts of Africa because the digital footprint will have some gaps but not impossible.

Guerillas in Kenya, Rhodesia, Namibia and elsewhere in Africa were generally classified as terrorists by the occupying powers. But are you a member of the occupying powers?
At your age you can't tell the difference between someone fighting to free his Homeland from foreign domination and a terrorist? Hide your head in shame.

Why are you ranting like a market woman who sat on a nail and got pregnant? Did I insult you? No. I merely pointed out your mistake.

You could have just acknowledged it and gone your way, only to call me stupid. So, I'm stupid for pointing out your mistake. A mistake that does a great disservice to the countless individuals who gave their lives to free southern Africa and end apartheid. A disservice to the Cubans and other volunteers who poured unimaginable resources into ending the apartheid monolith.

Mr Man, whichever University you went to, go there now and demand they return your school fees. Do that with your chest.

They only have to look at your brain, see there's nothing there and refund your fees. Once you are done, get a certificate of idiotism from the nearest general hospital. Then carry it around on a placard so we can all see it without hindrance.

Again, you lack of common sense is utter astonishing.

Aljazeera refers to Boko-Haram as rebels, rebels who bomb and maim civilians.

It is well documented over the following two years from 1980, thousands of Ndebele were detained by government forces and either marched to re-education camps or summarily executed by Robert Mugabe.

Infact the consensus of the International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS) is that more than 20,000 people were killed.

Are these not terrorists act carried out on the basis of tribe.

These terrorists acts perpetrated by Robert Mugabe predate 1980.

It's like you suffer from some mental illness. We are talking of freedom fighters and you are talking of Boko Haram and the Ndebele.

Are Boko Haram freedom fighters? Can you find any current Aljazeera description of Boko Haram as freedom fighters or rebels? So if they are described as milk maids and shoe shiners, will you believe that too?

The Mugabe you were talking about did kill thousands of his countrymen shortly after assuming power. So did Amin, and other African dictators. But they were heads of governments. How does that make them terrorists?

More than a million Iraqis are dead due to the US invasion. And the US itself has been responsible for massacres in World War 2, Korea and Vietnam. So, tell us that the US has long had terrorist inclinations.

You really lack any sense whatsoever and can't even reason well.

Well I don't know the financial details(still not released), but the president requested the super tucano deal be included in the defense fund, there's also an order for an LST from the navy, although what the army got from their share is still been seen as they arrive (non-disclosure)
There was a report last year that they was till money remaining
Garba Shehu, senior special assistant to the president on media and publicity, said the money was not released to the ministry of defence, instead, it was domiciled at the Central Bank of Nigeria.

In a statement released on Monday, Shehu said there is a balance of $123,111,571.29
The record we have is that the Buhari’s

administration paid $496,374,470 for a dozen Super Tucano fighter aircraft for the Air Force in a direct, government-to-government – no contractors

Various other military procurements for critical equipment have been made. These are for the Nigerian Army and the Nigerian Navy, amounting to $380,513,958,71.

Dear Buratai,

Today ISWAP came out in 5 Guntrucks and blocked the Monguno-Maiduguri road for an hour.

I have noticed with dismay that most of the Military onslaught are on the weakened Bokoharam in Southern Borno tho Damboa got some die hards. (Askira,Biu,Chibok,Hawul,KwasaKuyar, etc) There is no village in Southern Borno where there are no villagers residing. Infact most of those villages are guarded by hunters with Dane guns and double barrel.

Here in Northern Borno we have 9 LGA's of which
there 5 LGAs with no civilian as ISWAP are fully in control (Marte, Guzamala, Kukawa, Abadam and Baga) even the four LGA (Gubio, Monguno, Damasak, Nganzai and Magumeri) Even Magumeri is still shaky.

The war should be brought down to Lake Chad which ISWAP controls and is majorly Borno North and some part of Central like Kala Balge and Gamboru.

Thank you Sir. cool
