Government would but private sectors can not since their was no revenue for a whole month (you no work so why would a business man pay you for nothing?).

This is why I dislike the civil service and union. If not for them, Africa would be great. Even the president don't have to work, he would still get paid.

Federal govt staff, yes. States govt employees, some will pay some would pay half, some won't.
As for private they are in the hands of God. Thats if they don't sack u this period

As for me i have been working from home for my firm five years now.my head office in lag while i base in east.

The issue is that i have never relied on their salary as im a contractor. Guys is not easy one door closes anoda opens.

Our major concern now is to be safe and alive.

I have been working from home and it have been stressful. I spent more on keeping my laptop on for 10hrs. I have been receiving my salary in full.
In short, I am about to apply for unconvinces allowance cos working under this heat and aedc light is not worth it.

bro, stop being emotional in your response to him. the only place you can get lucky receiving goodies all the time is in a Fed job.

No emotions in private businesses. as long the boss didn't cheat you of your wages, you're in no position to tell him to give small stipends or not. and he's committed no sin to that.

I'm just laughing here....as a business owner...its not easy...in fact close to impossible....there are months where money didn't come in but efforts where made...salary was paid..oga took the loss.

But this case is different no effort is being made...so anything management (me) gives or doesn't give....u must collect like that...if we have excess retained earnings why not..I'll gladly pay.....even top million dollar companies and football clubs cut staff salaries to next to nothing.

It depends on if the organisation is creating value during the lockdown and how much the organisation has in its reserve account.

What happened to people spending from their savings as well. Your termite brain would not let you reason out of the box. The simple truth is, if your organisation isn't making money, there is no money to be paid.
