This is not really beautiful. Lets just say it is eerie that lagos can look calm. The only beautiful structure is that serpentine bridge cascading via the slums.... If you wanna see beauty see lockdown views of European cities or San Francisco or Tunis or Algiers or Pretoria or Ouagadou or Kaduna |

nijabazaar:This is bitterness personified. And it is obvious in the way you quickly compared Lagos to some African cities, particularly Kaduna and Ouagadou when you haven't crossed any of Nigeria's border. For the record, the serpentine bridge is the Third Mainland Bridge and it is strange that you noticed the slum the most. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Softapplez: it's a pity bro, the only thing surviving Warri currently are those off-shore oil companies employing our youths, glad we still dominate that sector, without that, warri would have fallen completely. Stupidity foolishness and hatred brought this to us, at the end, we are the ones suffering, while our mates in PH and Lag are buzzing. @Bolded, exactly, there's need for us to restructure. 1 Like |

Sanchez01: I have crossed the border (you dont need to believe). I have been to San Francisco and Kaduna. I know what I am saying, sectionalism aside. You , yourself, knows that this is not beautiful. But sectional pride, ofcourse, overrides your sense of judgement.. I chose serpentine as a descriptive element, to further describe its singular beauty. I know the third mainland bridge 2 Likes |

Why is it that you edited life out the pictures to portray Lagos . Show raw unedited pictures like other places. |
Re: The Beauty Of Lagos During The Corona Virus lockdown -photo by Sanchez01: 8:52am On Apr 15, 2020 |
nijabazaar:Dude, I know where you're getting at, like a pastor would know his word. And I know for a fact that no sensible Nigerian would compare Kaduna to Lagos, no apologies. But of course, there's an underlying message here which is obviously a see through. You claimed Lagos can't hold a candle to Ouagadou and Kaduna, which I took you up on but smartly left out Ouagadou. And I'm wondering whether it's the same Kaduna that can't hold a brief on Ikeja you're yapping about or another. You once admitted your Anambra is in competition with LAGOS when your drunk of a governor stated otherwise, which you claimed was good and normal for federating states. I had thought you'd mention Anambra and I was carefully waiting to know where in Anambra you'd mention. Bitterness is why any man will overlook beauty and claim there's another fairer; like you did. Strange you asked us to put aside sectionalism, maintained Lagos isn't beautiful but mentioned Kaduna. I'd have recommended Chloroquine to cure your bitterness but I figured it would transpose your bitterness rather than help. Not to denigrate the other states, but be wise enough not to mention other states in Nigeria when trying to justify LAGOS is ugly. Kaduna, Port Harcourt (which is only a fraction of Rivers) and Abuja got nothing on Lagos and I'm not sorry to admit this. 4 Likes |

Odingo1:Real raw pictures would show everything...that person on purpose focused on the worst parts of PH. If you want to show the effects of a lockdown, won’t it make sense to also show the places that everyone goes to...the places usually busy? That OP was on a mission that only he/she knows...literally took picture of someone’s backyard and called it Port Harcourt. 1 Like |

Sanchez01:Yes, that’s what I mean. At least, you don’t see many people talking about how Lagos has slums in this thread...everybody is saying it’s fine and all that, and that’s what I want to see. Besides, in a lockdown situation, wouldn’t it make sense to show the parts of the city that are usually busy e.g. The major roads and entertainment locations? |

Sanchez01: Mehn, the bolded statement just destroyed your otherwise good argument. You cant compare abuja to lagos on terms of development, maybe you can compare Gwagwalada to Lagos but not the entire Abuja. Abuja is by far the best naija has to offer, I've lived in both cities. Edit I’ve visited Lagos now. Can’t admit that it’s not that far behind.. in truth it’s actually a lovely city… 1 Like |
