ok. I think low voltage reduces the efficiency of a capacitor, resulting in low speed of the fan. I'm experiencing that in my new apartment. The transformer got bad and we began having low voltage for like 6 months now. At the start of that period, if I put on my gen, the fan blazes. But now, it has been poor even with the gen on.

Do you think a change would work out here?

You can try that but check the rating on the capacitor before you get another one and lastly check if your fan is free from dust, that can also cause it.

I have a 55 curved that was on the wall. Trust me, it was very lovely and makes for nice viewing angles more than flat screens. I only brought it down for one reason and one reason only: FIFA 20 !
I like being almost inside the stadium when its that time. Its more immersive when youre just about 3 feet close to the screen. I know, my eyes!

you have messed the other wires up, has notting to di with capacitor, check with another fan of similar model/make....goodluck.

between #150 to #250. also make sure u don't buy the one that is too much for your fan so as not to burn your fan coil. which type of fan are you using and also what's the UF on the old capacitor

I think it's low voltage issue which has affected the capacitor cos it's only the parlour fans which I turn on always that are slow of recent. It wasn't so when I moved in.
