My name is Adebayo {edited}, a graduate of Architectural Technology with an online training in marketing communication strategy (Jumia J-force). I resides at Number 3, {edited}.

I see this opportunity of empowerment as a privilege to channel my background knowledge and idea on poultry farming right from my teenage days. I acquired two plots of land last two years at Mowo, close to badagry in Lagos state purposely for poultry farming but due to financial difficulties I have not been able to set up the poultry.

Poultry farming is a lucrative business that requires total commitment, it is lucrative in the sense that the consumption of the end product (birds & eggs) are in constant demand up and down the country and it appears to be a potent source of animal protein outside fish, pork and beef.

Over the years, I have gathered little knowledge via the internet, online poultry farming training and even on nairaland from more experienced poultry farmers about the different breeding like the boilers (day old chicks), layers for the production of eggs etc. as well as the various poultry feeds like feeders, waterer, nest, cage, incubators, coops, brooders or heaters, weaste /disposal system which will aid my work when given the opportunity.

More so, having worked under different management organizations has broaden my understanding in terms of paying attention to details and marketing communication skills in all aspects and always ready to learn which I would bring to the business.

However, I have given my 100% effort in my past little poultry farming with my mother, this has really made me to have passion and developed my understanding in putting up a poultry farm structure which include the free roaming system chicks, the saw dust system, the caging system ( where birds are housed in the cage). All these aforementioned ideas and experience has emotioned me to recognise my capabilities and limitations in which I seek to developing myself by teaming more and to acquire more knowledge on poultry farming.

All these along with my relevant experiences and the petty proud achievements I have is exactly why I should be picked, my husband would be available for any other information or verification about my past experience or about the landed property via 0803{edited}.

If i am been empowered, my dream would come to reality and I would be able to support my family needs and also extend the same kind gesture to others in needs as the business boom.

Hello,

Thanks for your interest in our empowerment program but we have few questions for you based on your application

One of the conditions of the program is to have a place where you can take care of 100 chicken at the minimum, and you mentioned that you have a land, but you are yet to build the pen, how do you plan to build the pen where to keep and take care of the chicken if all you have is the land?

I will advice you build the pen first ma’am because one of the requirements was someone that already have a pen to handle at least 100 Chickens.

Hmm. I hope u locate serious ones. Applicants shud know that this is not a get-rich-quick scheme. If u are not serious and hard working, sorry for you oo. But if u persist and build ur foundation well, the sky is ur limit.
