RICH countries shift production to low cost centres to focus on more profitable activity

What do they produce ?

The world has moved on
MTN, Glo, Zenith produce nothing but are among our biggest companies.

Production is not everything though even in manufacturing Lagos is the leader
The question is why is nearly 60% of VAT collected in Lagos? MORE THAN THE WHOLE NORTH

Oga you have seen on numerous occasions, pictures of built up Igbo cities. Who built up Igbo cities? Was it Yoruba bricklayers that built up our cities. All the heavy machineries been fabricated majorly in Aba and all eastern states are done by Yorubas?

Please wake me up any day you can close your eyes and give me 80,000 professional shoe manufacturers from the west that can export 1 million pairs of shoes every week.

The Northerners are the original leather craftsmen in Nigeria making different materials ranging from bags to shoes amongst numerous other leather works..

in addition, Yorubas artisans are all over the south /south, South East (yes even Aba), Abuja, North, and south west rendering their services especially in the area of brick laying and mechanics.

Whereas it is hard to find a igbo artisan outside igbo land, just like it is hard to see a Yoruba trader outside Yoruba land

Even at that, the SW borrows heavily to get through every year, since more than 80% of their population depends on government salaries for their livelihood.

Everybody knows that Ogun state is the most industrialized state in Nigeria.No way Anambra will beat its GDP and IGR.
Oyo state is the 4th economy in Nigeria.
We have nominal and real GDP. In the absence of Real GDP which is always calculated after Nominal GDP,we use the Nominal GDP and later the senior Real GDP which is the leader because it takes in inflation and shows the overall power of an economy.

This is the real GDP.
