With this rate, the lockdown is not ending anytime soon. If you know you can't survive this lockdown till next 3 months, start doing the needful even if it's to kill yourself. That is the hard reality.

Why can't NCDC give accurate number of samples tested? So that we have correct perspective on these new cases.

On their website it has remained >5000 for the past one week. What are they trying to hide?

if u listened to the presidential task force broadcast today, they gave a lot of info about that. They said from hence forth, they would release the total number of people tested every Friday. Those of u asking if they have subtracted the total number of discharged from the total number of cases, the answer is NO

Kano! Kano!! Kano!!!

How many times did I call you?

Blame Ganduje for the escalation of this virus in your state.

Ganduje does not mean well for your state at all at all.

If Kano roars, the whole northern states trembles.

Ganduje refused to lockdown kano with the believe that Arewa whether is stronger than covid 19.

Now the worst has happened.

Kano started counting last Friday, and today, kano has 26 cases.

Blame Ganduje

They have nothing to hoard or hide. I will advise them to be vigilant and careful. They should leave nothing to chance.

That's not how they do it, as long as there's a confirm case there it will be recorded, wether the case has recovered or not

With the rate Kano number is growing, it will overtake Abuja very soon before the week runs out. As for the last two states, those numbers are fake. No covid-19 case in those states.

As for people asking why there's no case in South East, just have in mind South East is doing to Nigeria what Africa did to the rest of the world few months back

Remember when the rest of the world were asking why no case in Africa

Kwara Discharged 2 COVID 19 Patients Today

Statement from the governor

I’m glad to announce to you that we have discharged two of our four confirmed covid -19 cases in Kwara. This was done after they both twice tested negative. We also discharged five other people who have tested negative twice. These five people are family members of the confirmed cases; they were taken to a different part of the isolation centre out of abundance of caution.

With the exit of the seven persons, we have 11 persons left in the facility. Two of these 11 are COVID-19 patients while the remaining nine are people who haven’t tested positive but have had varying contacts with the confirmed cases.

They are all doing pretty good, and we wish the remaining two patients quick recovery.

I will like to state clearly that COVID-19 is not a death sentence. We will punish anyone who stigmatises any of our patients or members of their families.

I am proud of all the people of Kwara State for their support and understanding at this time of lockdown, which is to flatten the curve of transmission and save all of us from this pandemic.

I commend our health workers for their professionalism and commitment. We assure them of our support now and always.

May God protect us all.

He's keeping people who have nkt tested positive in an isolation center.. undecided

You can only be isolated if you are positive - he shoukd Fund a different location to quarantine suspected cards not a different part of the isolation center.. undecided

The south east don't play politics of this kind of magnitude with health. Be rest assured everybody will put effort to discourage it's growth so that business can continue as soon as possible

So,what's the essence of NCDC updating the threads every now and then.

They should pause their updates till Friday if that be the case.

Something is still fishy about dx figures that they do update

It will be of no harm to you if you ask why they don't subtract the discharged case from the total number.... While that is the WHO standard for reporting number of cases. So it is not a Nigeria thing.
