Since they extended the lockdown the numbers have continued to increase like wild fire.

I smell scam.

Not trying to sound rude, but if you had thought before posting, you'd have known that the cases are increasing because they have been able to easily locate those who have been in contact with previous victims. The lockdown has made it easy for them to conduct more tests, since everyone is at home.
Remember that there could also be about 2000 unconfirmed cases, but for the fact that everyone is in their homes, they would be tracked easily.

If I should go by your own theory, then I'd also say the health care agencies in the US are also playing tricks by discovering 1000 cases in a day, despite the lockdown.
Please we should all think before typing.

It will be of no harm to you if you ask why they don't subtract the discharged case from the total number.... While that is the WHO standard for reporting number of cases. So it is not a Nigeria thing.

Ok bro...but those figures ain't adding up atall.

The earlier dx people gives us genuine proofs (pictures and videos) about this whole CoronaVirus positive, negative and Death cases...the better for all man in dx country.

Them Just dey use dx CoronaVirus matter dey catch cruise (Funds embezzlement)

Please how is this stats calculated? Has the discharged patients been substracted from the total confirmed cases?

No

They don't subtract from the confirmed cases.

The discharged and deceased are all part of the confirmed cases. They don't have an option for Active cases

Enugu has discharged her 2 cases, why are you still including them on the chart?

This is what you get from country with uncooked leaders.

By now, we ought to have been testing around 40,000 per day, here, the FG is just ordering 4,000 tests per day

Yes, Four Thousand

Four and three zeros

2000 X 2

Tuehhh!

Did Enugu ever have cases of covid-19? = Yes
How many were they? = 2

Those are the questions that the list you mentioned seeks to answer for posterity. It is not a stigma, it is how medical records are compiled in keeping with international best practice.

WHO sets the standard of reporting, and virtually every nation complies with this standard of reporting. It is only in the aspect of analysis you would find the outcome for the Enugu 2. In this case the outcome for the Enugu 2 is RECOVERED. WorldoMeter adheres to this pattern of reporting too.

NCDC is doing the right thing. The only shortfall is that they do not always append some briefs about some special cases, age of victim and how some victims contracted the disease. I am sure one might find that in their comprehensive analysis.

The West is liberal enough to delve into such and make it public.

As long as that list exist and the covid-19 last, Enugu will continue to feature even if there are no new cases found there. I can imagine how you feel, but this is beyond emotions.

Lwkmd...dx people seff....Dem no dey reduce their figures...na to dey top up everyday like pikin wey dey recite 2 x 1 = 2

Enugu have discharged the two patients that Tested positive before thats what they told us dx night..Now NCDC don come up with that same old figure...who is fOoling who in dx country?

No one is fooling anyone.
Once a case have been recorded it doesn't get subtracted from the total number of cases.
The total number of cases are the figures of all confirmed cases, whether the case have been discharged or the victim is dead, it doesn't get subtracted.
So if it shows 2 cases in Enugu, that means two cases have been recorded there so far.

South korea reported that people who recovered from the virus tested positive again.

I hope it doesn't happen everywhere.

It does, and this is giving scientists a head scratching moment. Research are still on going on that, we just pray there should be immunity after recovery. Else, bigger kasala! (God forbid)
