Most times silence on stocks here means look away from it because of too much uncertainty

We should be careful in using upward movement in share price to justify our stock picks..
That oando has appreciated in price in recent time doesn't make it a good stock for the fundamentalist. For the TA people, it is a different ball game.

On a particular stock, can "buy" and "sell" be placed at the same time i.e. to buy at lowest price and sell at highest price.
Yes! Very possible.

I agree with you boss...that is what they call, mistaking movement for achievement.

I wasn't yet picking it. I was just following my mentor's words that 'before you move, seek counsel of people who know more than you but at the end of the day, make sure what you act on is your own personal conclusion after sifting the information...celebrate if you win, admit your mistake and forgive yourself if you lose'

I first asked so I won't be foolish. Thanks for your contribution.

I think it sometimes depends on the info at one's disposal as well as one's investment strategy too. This could apply to fundamental stocks, one can join moving train if he/she is sure of what he's pursuing.

Is it your Buying? Which earning season is over? what of companies that may likely pay interim dividend whose stock price may be influenced by a good 1st quarter result that will soon be released?

America has declared a 3 stage of resumption as at yesterday, by my calculations most universal lockdowns should stop in the next 3 weeks hence the demand for oil will come alive and brent should tick up. If people dont buy now when exactly should they buy?

That's market for you. We're in the uncertainty period, we'll witness more ups and downs, we just all have to be on the look out. Only the long termers have some level of rest of mind now. grin
