So after carefully studying various aspect of agriculture and the means of contributing to food security in Nigeria in our little bit, by investing in poultry farming as our pilot/ground breaking project in the world of agropreneurship. How ever, this aspect of agriculture is out first contact with agriculture as a business and we plan to expand to other agricultural ventures/businesses as time passes. Therefore the need to report and share with the general public out experience and we walk through the journey every step in the way! So today stated with us, purchasing materials needed to build the chicken coop with a capacity of 200-300 birds for a start (with hopes of expansion in the coming years), we purchased cement bags, building blocks and had the land (proposed site) cleared and ready for brick laying, engineer to his job. 3 Likes 1 Share

Re: My Poultry Farming Experience! by Youngext: 3:28pm On Apr 18, 2020 |
Victornezzar:No sir, we plan to test the waters with 100 broilers, Before going full scale: to layers (for egg production) in conjuction with broiler (for meat production) in an all year round production cycle, because the facility we are building would be capable of containing them both. We just hope to get it right by the grace of God! 1 Like |

So today is Sunday and the normal practice in Nigeria over, use to be that works are not expected to be done on sundays right? Well, our workers in site refused to let a day rest without engaging in a job, all thanks to the prevalent pandemic ailing the world over (Corona virus), they refused to allow hunger virus win the fight. So this is how We are starting today's day job

Sorry for the late posting, We went to the market today to get other materials needed to complete the building, that's why we couldn't post on time. Today we were partly absent from the site but work still went on, the workers didn't work at the normal speed with which they've been working today, so much wasn't done today but they promised to do more tomorrow. So, here's what the site looks like from today! How the day started
