The Headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC is currently on fire.

News made available to Naijatvnet has it that the Headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC in Abuja is currently on fire.

According to reports, the fire which began from the building behind the Press Centre inside the commission’s compound, started at about 12 noon today.

The fire started minutes before noon and personnel of the Federal Fire Service had already mobilized to the scene in an effort to out the fire

Details about the cause of the fire would be made available shortly.

You would recall that earlier last week, the Capital Unit of the Treasury House where the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation is located was gutted by fire
