Sani Abacha was head of state, and was buried within 24 hours of his death, normal Muslim way.

I'm not Muslim, but they bury their dead within 24 hours.

The only prominent Nigerian muslim I know who got buried late was MKO Abiola, and that was because his supporters and family insisted on a comprehensive autopsy first before burial.

If there had been exemptions, there will always be exemptions...

Yaradua died in Nigeria.

Had he died in Saudi, he would have been buried there pronto.

Yaradua didn't die in Nigeria. His corpse was smuggled into the country
Re: Abba Kyari: There Can't Be Cover Up. Muslims Don't Keep Dead Body Beyond 24Hours by bigtt76(f): 8:54am On Apr 18, 2020
Yar'adua was near dead when brought back and the plan was to keep him on life support so they could use him once in a while to sign out funds and other documents and to preserve him in office.

If he were dead in Saudi Arabia, perhaps the family would've preferred to have him buried there as most Muslims prefer being buried in the holy land... my thoughts though.

You're talking nonsense..Sharia is for the poor...how many days did yar'adua stay after his death in Saudi Arabia before been bursted

For you to know this, you must have been the person that killed him!
bro it's normal to speculate but wrong to ascertain from speculations.

What proofs do you have that yaradua died long before we know?

This is for those claiming he had died before yesterday. It is forbidden in Islam to keep the dead unburried.

In the state house statement, it said funeral arrangements will be announced. That will definitely be today but most likely low key burial.

If he dies, are we then immortal? hope for a good ending yourself rather than musing on that of others.

How long did yaradua stay, moreover, those that died with the virus are cremated. Leave this religion thing, he is not the first

Covid -19 does not know age creed or religion. Iran, an islamic nation has been battling with mounting surge of fatalities-the pile of bodies in their morgues was disturbing. Now tell me did every of those peple die the same day? WHy didn't they bury them the same day they died?
Oga, wahala never jam you you talk say you wise- who be your teacher.
Just pray that you and your loved ones survive this pandemic else body go full streets in the coming days. Just pray

You think these elite are concerned about religion? They only use it for political ends.

If u talking of the rich, I think Abacha is richer than all of them.Abacha was buried in less than 18hrs.I remember lota my Xtian friends were amazed by his early burial.
As for Yaradua,I don't actually know if he died earlier or not,but the.shariah law is explicit. If his death was delayed, then the family had disobeyed Allahs law.

"It is forbidden in Islam to keep the dead unburried".

Agreed.
He was likely buried within time stipulated, no dispute.

But, dying and been buried immediately is not necessary same as dying, buried, with delayed announcement for whatever reasons... that's the koko.

What a lame and senseless post?. What the hell do you mean by musing on death of others, this man is one of the few who have taken over the affairs of this country, while their decisions has led to the death and bereavement of so many innocent Nigerians. You must be a fool for writing such mindless write up, and Bleep anybody who tries to quote me unnecessarily. Do you know what life is on the other side for millions of Nigerians who suffer and die, because of the heartless decisions of this so called powerful men lurking at the corridor of power. Let those who want to mock his death, so as they pleases, because this men are of no good. Keep your fuckin righteousness to your self, and let people say what's on their fuckin mind.

Keep deceiving yourself. Do you know exactly the day Yaradua died that you talking?

The so called educated turning assumptions/opinion into facts. Am just tired of majority of our southerners, just come up with assumptions and talk authoritatively based on such assumption and still go ahead to argue based on that. It doesn't concern them if you have facts, all they know is, their assumptions are correct. That's the so called educated and how they think in the South where i come from.

1.Yaradua died on May 5th, and was buried on May 6th

2.MKO Abiola was buried 2 weeks after he died because his family and supporters insisted on a comprehensive autopsy before he was buried.

3.Gani was buried 10 days after he died as per his personal wishes.

4.Sani Abacha, and many other prominent Muslims (the late Emir of Kano, among others ) were all buried within 24 hours of their death.

The media only told you he died May 5

Well in Gani's case...this thread from the time of his death appears to suggest the delay was due to his personal wishes

you people should go and sit down, where is osama bin laden body he was not buried the same day as a Muslim, what of bodies of ISIS fighters that were killed during gun battles some their bodies were eating by stray dogs,so you thing if your a muslim and died with a strange sickness in western world the person will be buried the same day without autopsy?western world is not a place like nigeria where fulani bandits will kill 200 villagers a day and government will do mass burials for them

Death is for everyone so let him go and rest in peace.if he will truly rest in peace. because he Contributed most of the problems we are facing in this country. His death should be an eye opener to all these politicians who steals our National cake as if is their personal properties

You are writing NONSENSE

Yar'adua died in Nigeria

He was on the verge of death before he was brought in on a life support machine

Many people visited him and said he was in a vegetative state

A man in a vegetative state is similar to dead but not actually dead
