The late Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, will be buried on Saturday (today).

Personal Assistant on New Media to the President, Basir Ahmad, made this known via his Twitter handle.

Ahmad, however, did not state where the deceased would be prayed upon or buried.

He tweeted, “Mallam Abba Kyari will be buried later today in Abuja according to Islamic rites.”

The PUNCH reports that Kyari was announced dead on Friday, 25 days after testing positive to the coronavirus.

Before announcing the deceased burial, Ahmad described him as one of the most misunderstood people.

He said, “Abba Kyari certainly was one of the most misunderstood people in the history of Nigeria. Those who had the opportunity to know him personally will tell you how extremely a good person he was.

The minister of information addressed the whole Nation telling us how dangerous the corpse of a COVID-19 victim is and stated it clearly that no family will be allowed to claim the corpse of their loved one. Now the same presidency is announcing his burial

lol he took a bullet for osibanjo. All the travels to Germany and London was supposed to be done by osibanjo but because of him osibanjo was always holed up in his office in the name of economic management. All the travails osibanjo suffered was because of this man. All the lopsided appointment because of him. Infact he was called vp administration. He even sidelined mougnour and was holding meeting with service chiefs. My prayer is that buhari would be sober and love all nigerians equally. Come down south, people are drinking and celebrating while we should be mourning.

how can a chief of staff negotiate power supply for a nation when we have osibanjo who should have represented buhari and a minister who should have made presentation on behalf of the ministry? Nawa for una mediocrity o. Siemens was actually going to take over everything about power supply and it needed the presence of the president.
