l hail all health experts here present. Please what are the implications of consuming expired food products, because l'm about to consume rice that expired since January 2020.

Note: It was produced in January 2017, l have had it since last year, didn't even bother checking the expiry date until today. Fortunately, this is the last portion l am cooking at the moment.

There is nothing like expired food products but spoilt ones.

Food products don’t carry the expiry date label, but Best Before label. Best before no be worst after o grin

A spoilt food product isn’t meant to be consumed, microorganisms are mostly responsible for the food spoilage.
