Nonsense! Go and feed that to the birds! We knew all along that the numbers put out there are a hit job. Yeah right! I'm supposed to believe a corrupt feudal system over the woman who knows her numbers! The former minister of finance said it loud and clear that Lagos and Ogun alone contribute 60% of Nigeria's income and NO ONE refute the claim! Blue3k: 1 Like |

You are so dumb you have no idea what you are saying. Lagos owes nothing to anyone, you found it a great greener pasture and that's why you came. Lagos was great before you all came, it is ok now and will be better when all you squatters who have been a drag on Yorubaland leave. Go and fix your land and stop day dreaming about Yorubaland! spendoon: 5 Likes 1 Share |

Yoruba youths have not being given a fair shake, they really have nothing to build on, so I can see why they are this way. Lagos, economic hub alright but built for others as Yoruba are losing more to it than gain. No special status for Yoruba, the little available is what everyone from everywhere is coming to share with Yoruba and in many cases, the stranger ends up getting the only one left. When the only slot for Lagos falls in the hand of a non Yoruba, you know there's a problem and this has happened many times already. Nigeria has no constitution, what it has is a decree by a military dictator. A constitution has to be agreed on by all the nationalities in Nigeria like the pre independence constitution or the amended version to remove the queen's name as Nigerian leader. Nigeria is an illegal country, and I will take the word of Awolowo that "Nigeria is not a nation but a geographical expression" over any fulani fake constitution. I know that Philippines is a sovereign nation but the point you missed is, no one can force Yoruba to sell land, just as other places in Nigeria don't sell and no constitution is forcing them against their will. myobjective: 1 Like |

You are hallucinating and confused at the same time! You must be taking me for one of you that beat your empty chest to compensate for your insecurity, keep that to yourself alone. So because the cbn put it out, it's true? I won't spend a minute of my time looking at the trash you posted! Oh yeah cbn is so honest, they don't steal, it's just a coincidence that its governors drive rolls royce on their r.rover salary. You must be one of those who believe everything on the internet especially wikipedia. Just shove it, we already have the memo of why Yoruba is being blocked from being the gov of cbn, that's why Adeosun dropped the bomb. Yorubaland has always been the head and since the day of the colonists. The secret is already out, Yoruba's money is what y'all are spending, not oil money though Yoruba own significant part of the oil too. Blue3k: 1 Like |

DanArrewa: If that be the case why is the north so afraid of letting go? Why are they so dependent on oil coming from the Niger Delta? If your land is so fruitful why are your herdsmen flocking all around South West , South East and south South just to feed your cows? Fine the North is bless, every region is bless in Nigeria too but the North have always been parasitic in nature that's a fact you can't despute, you claim your agricultural products feeds Nigeria if so why do we still have smugglers? You claim ABA only assembles fake product, yet taxes from these region is used in developing your region. I believe you know how other region is feeding the north, yet you have the guts to post this trash. The North have always been ungrateful,no doubt about that so I'm not suprise. |

[s] wowcatty:[/s] [s] wowcatty:[/s] Lol chestbeater on the loose. You're citing fictional sources for imaginary events. The CBN is now a hit job because you're dumb enough to believe your own lies. It's hilarious you implying Adeosun the certificate forger is the only virtuous person that worked for the corrupt FG. Q1 2019 oil represented 61% of Federal revenue. The CBN is citing ministry of Finance figures. It's suddenly untrue because its not run by the certificate forger anymore. Btw clown previous reports said the same thing. Ps: the finance minister said lagos contributed 55% to vat. Your lies have been refuted.

spendoon: With who and whose resources? Definitely, with only Yoruba's resources and Yoruba trained carpenters, cabinetmakers, masons, bricklayers and technically skilled artisans from Bahia. Not one kobo from other regions contributed to the development of Lagos as at 1900 because other regions were yet to be conquered and annexed to British as at 1899/1900. Fact No one kobo resources of other regions were imported or exported through Lagos as at 1900 because North & SE were yet to be conquered and annexed to the British empire, and SS resources were imported and exported through Calabar port. By the time Lagos colony was merged with Southern Nigerian protectorate, Lagos was already a cosmopolitan city. By 1872 Lagos was a cosmopolitan trading center with a population over 60,000. In the aftermath of prolonged wars between the mainland Yoruba states, the colony established a protectorate over most of Yorubaland between 1890 and 1897. Colonial Lagos developed into a busy, cosmopolitan port, with an architecture that blended Victorian and Brazilian styles. The Brazilian element was imparted by skilled builders and masons who had returned from Brazil. The black elite was composed of English-speaking "Saros" from Sierra Leone and other emancipated slaves who had been repatriated from Brazil and Cuba. By 1872 the population of the colony was over 60,000, of whom less than 100 were of European origin. In 1876 imports were valued at £476,813 and exports at £619,260. 6 Likes 1 Share |

forgiveness: I counted only 19 For the last time, we are comparing Ibadan & Jos and not the entire Oyo state. Emmanuel Alayende College & Fed school of Surveying are both in Oyo town and not Ibadan. You are now bringing ridicule to this list by listing Departments & Faculties of UI as separate institutions. Institute of African studies and Department of Forestry are part and parcel of UI. They are not independent degree awarding institutions of their own! Now here is Jos list updated 1. University of Jos 2. Bingham university 3. Karl Kumm university 4. Plateau state polythecnic 5. Federal college of Forestry 6. Federal college of Veterinary and Medical laboratory Technology, Vom 7. Nigerian college of Accountancy Jos 8. Federal college of Animal health and Production technology Vom 9. NTA Television college Jos 10. Plateau state college of health Technology, Zawan 11. ECWA college of Education, Jos 12. Plateau state college of Nursing & midwifery, Jos 13. Ecwa International college of Technology 14. College of Arabic & Islamic studies Rikkos 15. National film Institute Jos 16. Theological college of Northern Nigeria Bukuru 17. Nigerian Institute of mining and geosciences Jos 18. Federal college of land rescources technology Vom 19. Zibeh Institute of Technology, Jos 20. United school of science & Technology, Bida Bidi 21. Global college of Education, Jos Can you guys see the reason why some people call Ibadan a big for nothing city Ibadan is twice the size of Jos and was once a regional capital, but see Jos giving it a run for it's money. When we tell you people that the only part of Nigeria you can call illiterates are the Hausa fulani & Kanuri core-northerners, you people will start yarning dust. Southern Nigerians are not more literate than Middlebelt/Northern christians! That was the case 30 years ago, but we have rapidly caught up with you guys. The only edge you people still have on us is the large diaspora, traveling abroad and larger middle-class (supported by Fraudulence )! Legendhero & Tobrasky, you have been posting lists of American varsities with Yoruba & Igbo students. Yes I know my people have not started choosing the West as educational destinations in good numbers, but we are gradually getting there. However, if you go to places like Cyprus, Greece & Turkey, we are very very well represented. Even Hausa fulanis are well represented there. I had an Igbo friend who schooled in Cyprus and he confirmed to me that Middlebelters & Core-northerns clearly outnumber Southerners in his school and the whole of Cyprus at large. Go to Malaysia & Egypt, Hausa fulanis form 90% of the Nigerian Students there. Here is a proof below of what I am saying about Cyprus. I just picked a random Cyprus varsity and I logged into their alumni search. And for every northern Christian name I put in, there were people who had that name and finished from that school. And besides, you people were concluding that there was no northern Christians on those American alumni lists, and the question I have for you people is. IF YOU SEE MOST NORTHERN CHRISTIAN NAMES, CAN YOU IDENTIFY THEM? Within Nigeria and most possibly Africa, Northern Christians have the most diverse names! We have 200 ethnic groups and everyone of them have their own unique tribal names. In addition to these tribal names, we also answer Judeo-English names, Hausa Bible names & Native Hausa fulani & Kanuri names! If you guys or the average Southern Nigerian see names like NGALATO SHALLANGWA GONG CHUN ESTHER ABAINE ISUWA ANGBAZO HYELADI GONI BISHARA YASHIM NGOPWA TAFIDA NERAT BIYAYA can you be able to tell where they come from? Jokers. Or you think every Nigerian must have Chi, Ade, Ola, Nwa in their names or answer pure Islamic names like Hausa fulanis? Cc Iamgrey5, Covidodo 1 Like

You too sha want to feel among There's no basis for comparison between Ibadan and Jos. I gave up when you said the Southerners are no more better educated than the Northern Christians . Covidodo: Ignoramus! Those Jamb lists are based on population (minus pure Hausa fulani states). Check if Lagos & Ekiti states are higher than Plateau state! Plateau state does not have as much indigenes as those states on the top of that list. Kaduna & Kano states are high because of their population. In Kano, everyone including Indigenes & settlers use the state as their state of origin. I have muslim cousins who use Kano state indigeneship! Kaduna is high cos it is made up of 2 nation's! Southern Kaduna & Zaria people! Kaduna state has twice the Indigenous population of Plateau. Only Southern Kaduna people can match Plateau people in number of Indigenes. Don't be ignorant! |
