Those I've seen use this phone are small children here. Outside Nigeria it's used as a secondary or a burner phone

I've been using my fone for almost 3 years now. 3gb ram, 16gb Rom.
d fone is wonderful, very light and flat. I've never lay hands on any Android that's as flat and light in weight as dis particular coolpad I'm using
d only issue with it is d battery. 2000maH. but besides that, it's very cool like d name implies

Yeah it might be. I call it a third tier brand. Most third tier brands can produce good things atimes.

In my opinion
1st tier brands are the likes of Samsung, Huawei, Sony,

2nd tier brands are the likes of Gionee, xiaomee, OnePlus,

3rd tier are the likes of your coolpad, vivo, amoi, konka, cubot, elephone , etc.

That doesn't mean 3rd tier phones can't burst the head of consumers Sha. Example is oppo. I call oppo a third tier phone coz if not for BBN, they wouldn't have be known.

I presume the Tecno brand should be around the first tier since its always the phone of choice for an average Nigerian

Never buy a coolpad if you want peace of mind, bought that crap two years ago and couldn't get network_ had to constantly keep it outside to get little signal.

3GB RAM, very light in weight. flat in thickness. as if you were carrying paper. never had any issue for once with it. never hang for once. soft work

what I'm saying here is that coolpad is not as bad as d way u paint it. it could be dat you're getting d fone from a better place, or you're not just lucky on d fone.
I've a friend that once use coolpad and he love it b4 he change to infinix after d fone lost.

Coolpad is a 3rd tier quality phone. I once used such phone one time. Pretty sleeky but poor battery life. Quite a few also do not have access to Google Play or play services.

I think they're beginning to make some modifications though.

That's cos you live in Africa where substandard junks are dumped. Imagine calling oppo a third tier phone.

Well like you stated, it's your opinion.
