Chalva: It's quite unfortunate that IRCC doesn't practice the first come first serve basis when processing a visa application. This is as a result of individual case differences as every applicant's application is unique and as such treated based on the visa officer's perspective. About 20% of applications are more complex for the immigration officers to process due to things like how easily they can verify information, how well and how quickly an applicant answer their requests and whether the application is complete. I hope this information helps. It will end in praises. 1 Like |

NwanyiOkpa: NwanyiOkpa: The first question has already been answered by me.... please refer to my previous post about using ONLINE GENERATED BANK STATEMENT for a study visa application. It is the responsibility of the visa officer to determine whether your sponsor has the financial capability to cover for the subsequent years of study. This is achievable by going through your sponsor's financial history and ongoing turnover in his/her bank statement. That's the more reason it is very important to show excessive funds available especially if your program duration is more than a year. Following the financial illustration given by you... Tuition and living expenses for the first year is = 31kCAD. Your sponsor should have a total sum of 12.5M and above to show adequate financial resources to cover for the first year of studies and ability to sponsor the subsequent years of study. Rollyxxmv: I regret to hear that your study visa has been rejected the second time. I would like to see the recent reason for a refusal from IRCC before I can be able to assist you on the best possible way to prepare an airtight and successful study permit application. Be strong, don't give up. It will end in praise. 6 Likes |

gregsamo: It might be a degree equivalent but that doesn't guarantee you a space for a master's program in Canada. Prior to be granted a master's admission in any of the designated institutions in Canada, graduate admission department always take into consideration your undergraduate GPA of which yours is an HND certification and not a Bachelor's degree. As i earlier advised, your better option is going for a PGD program in Canada without declaring the previous PGD during the visa application. This is the feasible way to increase your chances to be granted a Visa to study in Canada. I hope this information helps. In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns regarding this matter, don't hesitate to reach out here for professional assistance and advice. It will end in praise 1 Like 1 Share |

Hi FrankRobbn1! Thanks for all the advice you give on the platform. I remember seeing a post sometime last year where you mentioned Unis that offer full funding for masters programmes. I can’t seem to find it now. Can you please share some suggestions (applicant’s undergrad was in Economics and Mathematics, 1st class). Thanks! Frankrobbn1: |

I have not gotten a refusal yet Mr Frankrobbn1. I only got a BVL yesterday. And I said from what I've been reading on here, a BVL before medical request is likely a refusal. Looking at my profile which i wrote earlier, a cause for alarm? Frankrobbn1: |

OluwaFavored: OluwaFavored: OluwaFavored: My sincere apologies to have skipped your questions and was busy responding to other prospective applicants concerns. Fast forward to your questions, 1-) To be eligible for a self-sponsorship. You must show proof of means of financial support for the remaining miscellaneous expenses that might occur during the course of your program in Canada since the second year tuition is 75% funded. You can add your uncle as a co-sponsor to your visa application basically to cover for the living expenses in second year that's if the funds in your account isn't adequate enough to sustain you for the subsequent years. 2-) Withdraw the EE and include the UCI number in the IMM 1294E application form given that your CRS score didn't meet up with the current Express Entry draw (455 on April 16, 2020). 3-) Tuition - Indicate your first year tuition fees as stipulated on the acceptance letter. Room and Board - 10,000CAD Others - 3,000CAD Funds available = Total tuition for the first year, plus room and board plus others. This makes up the funds available for my stay. 4-) Declare your martial status as married. You can sign the form even though you're in the US. All you need to do is to fill the form with the necessary information, sign and send it across to your husband to append his signature and send it back to you to include with your application. Sequel to your last question, marriage certificate is a compulsory document for candidates with spouse. This document is the only way to prove to the visa officer that you're legally married to your husband. In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to reach out here for assistance. It will end in praise 1 Like |
