Yeah, but Messi is among the top 5 players to have scored more goals against English top teams, and he has never played in the premier league. Ronaldo who spent 6 years in the EPL playing for arguably the best team in the land in that period isn't even among top 8.

The fact that he stepped up his goal scoring tally two seasons before he left doesn't negate the statistics I stated. In fact, that buttresses my point which countered your initial point. Messi started scoring English teams even before Ronaldo left united.
