Sure it’s truly reality that’s why in PS4 & PS3 in combat scenarios you just keep killing and winning.
Very foolish and at the same time stupid assumption to say, I can see your PS as taken over your head. Your are a true definition of keyboard commando.

In the video you posted, are you saying the Nigerian soldiers were ambushed?

In the video kingazubuike posted the Nigerian soldiers were either outflanked or Boko Haram ambushed them.

Yeah you're right. Nigerian army has always been waiting for Boko Haram to attack them first before they attack. That's why the battle has taken this long.

Bros, it's not a matter of playing too much video games or movies. That video was appalling. You'd mistaken them for a militia. Even the general is too sub-par to be a general. Tears rolled down my cheeks watching that video.. my daughter was like "daddy what's wrong" I just looked at her and burst out crying the more.

I agreed with you that there was no coordination. These one's are no special forces. Have you seen movies from the civil war - Liberia - Sierra Leone? They are almost like this. Have you seen movies of the US army which is always the bench mark from Korea - Vietnam - Grenada - Panama - Afghanistan? Iraq/Iran war. My message is that war is always chaotic, it's not an opera. In Afghanistan, some of the videos that I've seen are chaotic. When it gets too hot and it does most times, they call for air cover. The Nigeria Army could do better, but it's not good to ALWAYS bash them, seeing that even the best with billions of dollars weaponry gets into situations like this.

How many soldiers can make accurate shot at 500 meters? Even in US military.

Those guys are firing an enemy at almost 1km or even greater. This is neither a video game not a movie.

You can't judge the performance of the operation by what is happening in a small part of the operation except you have an overall view.

Try to be in a place where bullets are fly here and there and sure your impression will change.

You see.....
How funny your are, it’s not about your educational status which I doubt. You don’t have an iota of what you’re talking about.
Things are deferent in combat scenarios. Even has a trained soldier until you get your first baptism of combat then you can open your mouth and beat your chest.
Got mine donkey years ago; so I can categorically tell you it’s not about “MPhil holder”.

[Exactly my brother, the Nigerian army is playing a defensive game instead of going offensive. They're just waiting in the trenches to be attacked, but I don't blame them, they've no choice, most of them are Junior ranks. ]

We recovered over 70 bodies, say residents
•Security agents move against invasion

Bandits at the weekend invaded six communities in Safana, Dutsinma and Danmusa local government areas of Katsina State and killed scores of residents, including women and children.

The police confirmed the killing of 47 people during the attacks, but the residents said 70 bodies were recovered.

They also said that dozens of their fellow residents were seriously injured while houses were burnt and valuables, including food items and money, were carted away by the bandits.

The attacks were said to have occurred shortly after relief materials were shared to some members of the affected communities to cushion hardship brought about by the deadly coronavirus.

Sources said the bandits, armed with sophisticated weapons, stormed the affected communities in their hundreds, riding on motorcycles in twos and threes.

It was learnt that many residents who refused to give up their relief materials or other belongings were beaten while unlucky ones were shot dead.

According to the source, some of the community members initially resisted the attacks but were overwhelmed when reinforcement came for the bandits.

He said the general hospitals in the affected council areas had received bodies of those killed and were attending to the injured as some of the community members fled their homes in fear.

Another source told The Guardian that the attacks might be reprisal in nature, coming after some vigilantes locally called Yansakai allegedly stormed some Fulani settlements and drove them away from the area.

He said the communities were worried that the Fulani settlements were attracting bandits living inside the forest to the area, and that some of the herdsmen were acting as informants to the criminals.

One of the sources, who gave a breakdown of the bodies of the victims so far recovered, said 30 were recovered in two villages in Danmusa council, 17 at Gurzar Kaka, and 13 in Gurzar Gamji, among others.

But the spokesman for the state police command, Gambo Isah, said 47 persons lost their lives in the attacks.

Isah said, “On 18/04/2020 at about 00:30hrs, bandits in their numbers, armed with AK47 rifles attacked Kurechi village of Danmusa LGA of Katsina State.

“The villagers summoned courage and chased away the hoodlums. Later the villagers started burning down empty corn stalk to keep their animals safe and to keep the hoodlums at bay.

“Subsequently, the situation changed when some Yansakai group (local vigilantes) started setting ablaze some Fulani settlements at Aibon Mangwaro village of Danmusa LGA of Katsina State.

“Consequently, on the same date at about 03:00hrs, there were reports of organized and simultaneous attacks in villages in Danmusa, Dutsenma and Safana by groups of armed bandits.

“At Kurechin Atai village of Danmusa, 14 persons were killled. At Kurechin Giye and Kurechin Dutse villages of Dutsinma LGA of Katsina State, bandits killed four and six persons. And at Makauwachi and Daule villages, the hoodlums killed 19 and four persons.

“Detachments of police, Nigerian Army, Nigeria Air Force, Civil Defence and Directorate of State Services (DSS) have been drafted to the area. Currently, an operation is still ongoing by the combined joint forces,” he added.

The only question I have for everyone commenting on the video is

HAVE YOU EVER SEEN COMBAT?

HAVE YOU EVER RECEIVED MILITARY TRAINING?
