Beautiful.

My major worry these days are:

Where are the beggars, homeless and almajiris on our streets during this lockdown and how are they coping?
they are all in boko haram's training camp.

Human beings are overrated.

Ordinary invisible virus, shutdown the world.
Humanity is powerless for the mean time.

You might slightly boasts of more in federal infastructures because the way Nigeria was designed base on allocation and others, but in individuals and real sectors Kano is below Anambra state
This is the DUMBEST comment I've ever seen. Below Kano how? Kano that has existed as a commercial city even before the coming of Islam? Kano that has existed as a commercial city even before Lagos?? Yes you can say Hausas are religious bigots but don't ever say Kano is below Anambra. Which Anambra that I've visited from delta state? Abeg ignorance kills.
If Kano was close to the ocean I tell you Lagos would not even exist. Why don't you visit there? Only Lagos is ahead of Kano in Nigeria and I say this cos I've been to most places in Nigeria and arguing this shows you are not travelled. Forget the almajiri pix you see everywhere. They are grossly deceptive. Until you go you go know

Anambralstson Kano would have even been much more than this, Far much more than this but their religious bigotry no allow them. This is why they are even at this level that you see if not, Kano would have SERIOUSLY been competing with Lagos.
Re: Pictures Of Kano Under Total Lockdown by Nobody: 8:34am On Apr 20, 2020
Anambralstson Anytime corpers visit the north, they are always amazed shouting "so north dey like this?". I just laugh telling them "you don't believe whatever the media tells you". Even maiduguri that you hear of is EXTREMELY beautiful. As in EXTREMELY BEAUTIFUL AND CLEAN. They even have motion sensor street lights sef. Make Una dey there dey deceive Una sef. Na religious extremism dey kill north sef if not, north would have gone much Farther than this. Much much farther than this I tell you. North Don cheat/pass Una tete. That's why I pity Niger Deltans cos they know what they are fighting for. Even though they have much more wicked leaders squandering their resources. As in ehn Niger delta youths are BLIND. SO BLIND

My neighbour said that Kano has more infrastructures than Abuja. How true is this statement? I've never been to those places before.
tell your neighbour that he or she is a bloody liar. kano doesnt have more infrastrusture than Kaduna, talkless Abuja. i Have been to both places so many times
Re: Pictures Of Kano Under Total Lockdown by Nobody: 8:53am On Apr 20, 2020
Anambralstson The op showed nothing about Kano. He didn't show ANYTHING. Even Nasarawa sef can compete with ikoyi as regards beautiful houses etc. Kano wey people dey take gold do door? You think these elites coming to rule you are paupers? Why do you think you rarely see an igbo man ruling. It's not because they are not competent but their money no reach the one wey northerners get. In Nigeria politics is determined by the amount of cash you have and northerners have it boku wayyyyy passed that of the easterners especially their entrepreneurs (Kano entrepreneurs). There are people in Kano that dangote can never stand close to in terms of wealth. NEVER! You can take that to the bank. Try visiting nasarawa in Kano you'll see ikoyi as SHIT I swear to God.

i think you guys just visit one or 2 towns and conclude on beauty, infrastructure etc.
kano might have existed before Babylon, that's not what we are talking about. Enugu, Onitsha, Port Harcourt and Uyo are much more developed than Kano. I have been to all of them severally

Kaduna has more infrastructures than Kano? How? Kaduna is very developed but dirty sef. Kano? For where? No matter how El-Rufai repairs kaduna, it can never be like Kano. He would need much extra effort to have it close to Kano. (El-Rufai is trying though). Infrastructure ke? Abi am I dreaming? You've never visited Kano but you already have opinion. Why should there be? The lopsided sharing formula that gives the barren deserts undue advantage and of course the civil war are enough to arrest development of the South east.

Now remind me again a city as developed as Kano in the South west.

South east matter no go kee una sha.

Kano is a very beautiful place to be. My first visit wow me and the people are very accommodating to strangers. i remember how one aboki keke rider spend more than 1 hour helping us to look for a hotel we will lodge after all the stress the man ask for just 500 naira. i was touched and gave him 700 naira he was so happy. i told my friend that if it was Lagos, the business will end in argument because the keke man will demand for a crazy fee. The only thing i dont like there is their hard water. how can i be taking my bath and i wouldnt see soap foams on my body.
Alot of people do not actually know the good side of Northern Nigeria. Which is why some of us cannot leave here. It is not even about the beauty but the people. More honest, friendly and peaceful than the South.
I bet if you begged that keke man for #300 he will collect. People have human sympathy here. You could even be carried for free if you honestly justify to the man that you have no money.

It's still beautiful! In fact more beautiful sef. All the allocations sef wey dem give dem no be beans na. Only the fact that there had been some emigration. That killed maiduguri. Even Biu sef has some good economic activity. North is not as backward as people think

Don't mind them. I was born in Northern Nigeria and still here. Evrybody is aboki to them. When Chibok is even a Christian community. How will you come to Plateau and call them Hausa or go to Tafawa Balewa Local Government in Bauchi and call them Hausa?.
Most states in Northern Nigeria apart from Northwest have indigenous Christian population. Kaltungo, Billiri, Ballanga in Gombe (Christian Indigenes) Even Tsafe in Zamfara (Indigenous Christian minorities).
Don't even go to Adamawa and Taraba. They are nowhere close to being called Hausa. Kaduna is 50-50. Plateau has the Hausa minorities in parts of Jos-North, Kanam and Wase. Plateau is a predominantly Christian state. They will insult you if you call them Hausa.
I can go on and on.

As In ehn God bless you. You really know the north very well. People like meforyou1 will just sit down in Lagos and be firing arrows that they've been to the north, Bla Bla Bla.... Misinforming people just to bring the north down when in real life they've only been to Abuja. As if I'm a fool. Minna that's close to Abuja. Imagine someone even Comparing dry Abuja to Kano sef

Maiduguri is beautiful. Like Kano, it is a commercial state since from the 70's. So, you can imagine. Attacks by Boko Haram is mainly carried out in the outskirts. They dare not enter Maiduguri. May i also let you know that, University Of Maiduguri is one of the best tertiary institutions in Nigeria with very good medical courses well taught.

The Hausas in plateau sef are migrants. Just indigenous jos north that turned Muslims. Kaduna sef is 70/30 as per it's not an Hausa land (save for Zaria, makarfi, axis) but yes 50:50 as per Christians to Muslim's (I even reason Muslims would be more now due to migration from maiduguri and Kano especially). You really know the north FULL-TIME!! Not some meforyou1 telling arrant LIES

.

13 years ago i served in a bank in Minna. A nupe man came to open an account, and as i was entering his information. i indicated he was Hausa and the man took offence it was then that it dawned on me that there are so many tribes in the North that we in the south don't know about.
There is the Bachama, Shuwa Arabs, Fani, Margi, Nupe, Bwari, Jukun, Tiv, Idoma and so on
