Hello house. One of my brother in the neighborhood just finished secondary education. His parents want him engaged in learning or vocational training pending his admission to the university.
Please what aspect of computer programming can he start with as a beginner? Or any computer course to start with.
Your responses will be highly appreciated.

I am at the crossroads, don't know what to do. I see different careers in IT. Range from data management, Cyber security, Networking etc. My fear has always being mathematics/calculation. Please Sirs and Mas, what IT programme can I do without calculation/mathematics and that is sellable in Australia/New Zealand? I am not a fast learner. Thanks everyone, patiently waiting for your response

Apart from sub-netting, i dont think there's much mathematics in Networking.

I still wonder why the powerful Actionscript is not listed.

Python.
Python is a Rapid Application Development(RAD) language which lets you write complex software with less codes.
It is made juicier with the arrays of available modules that makes your programming life fun, easy and exciting.
As a developer, if you pick up python and dedicate say 2 weeks to learning it, You wont go back.

Python is not only addictive but also clean and organized. You can read through source codes written in python and you know what they do right a way.
the syntax design is near perfect as it lets you code without thinking of ending every line with semi-colons, no dollar signs, no var, Dim or the likes.
Python developers here can add theirs.

Recommend links and books to me. I want dedicate this lockdown to continue from where I stopped last year.

Web development is what I would recommend. Knowing html and css basics first.

Hi.
As a starting programming language, I would recommend to start with an easy one that you can quickly get the basics of programming. From there you can enhance your programming skills.

I developed Tyl Programming Language, that is easy and straight forward.
All documentation, as well as the runtime, are at: http://tyl-lang.dev

I must emphasize that though Tyl is a language by itself, it can be used as a jump start to other major language like: Python, Java, C#
I like this, did you build the compiler yourself?

Brotherly please, after one acquires these programing skills, web design / development skills. where can one work? As in organizations.
learning the skill is easy but mastery could take you more than a year or two. If you don’t have patience you can’t do it.
